    I heard that Japanese elevators, and so even buildings in general, don't have the number 4 in the buttons and the floor number 4 and that it simply skips from 3 to 5 for superstitious reasons, this does not seems like the case

      そのようなエレベーターは日本ではあまり見ません。 ただ、ごく一部のホテルのエレベーターにはあります。

    Your channel is Elevators from Finland, but this elevator is from Japan

      Yes but I have traveled abroad also, that's why some of my videos are from the countries I have visited. Me and my family even lived in Japan during 1999-2000 and been there after that. Still mostly my videos are from Finland, hence my channel name. I still am though the only elevator enthusiast from Finland (and also from the Nordic countries) who has also filmed elevators in Japan, then if you look at some elevators from Japan, there were historically some similarities with the Finnish ones, especially between KONE and Mitsubishi.

    Next time you're here, there's a set of three elevators in another part of the store. Non-scenic, but Toshiba, just like this set.

    Does every elevator in japan talk?

    • @FinnishLiftFilmer1993
      @FinnishLiftFilmer1993  Před 4 lety

      No, far from it. There are still older elevators without it. But still most of the public elevators, both newer and older, do have a voice announcement system.
