Hasn't changed much since I bought mine back in 2015. The 30.5 engine has plenty of power. . Still runs great. I'm sure the 36 is better. Tear it apart and lock tight everything.... Also do up the diffs as well. Not sure why it says 2wd on rovan w/s. Also have the XLT 450 which is a great truck as well...
We got the 8s elt electric version and the lt45 45cc version. Yes, you're right. we have opened and put lock tight everywhere. You get 2wd versions and 4wd versions too.
As much as i had problems with this pos, unscrewing screws weren't one of it.
And diffs were screwed tight as virgin had to torch them to take apart so on my 45cc ver there was loctite everywhere. Engine is total trash.
Throttle servo horn got spline stripped immediately leading to situation where after applying brake it left throttle half opened in neutral servo position... Literally dangerous, guys never drive with plastic throttle horn.
Diffs, halfshafts are pretty good, no issues there. Plastics are ok quality and aluminium parts also. Anodising on it have some problems but for half price of łosi ill take that.
If they sold rollers it'd be decent deal.
But paying for their big engines is wasting money 😢
I have their baja and that 29cc is very good, starts easier than ori zenoah.
So their small engines are good, avoid bigger ones. Chassis quality is acceptable overall
