Constructive criticism for Vocodah:
Vocodah’s beats during a battle doesn’t hit as hard as his livestreams. The reason is because when he’s battling, he tends to get too into it and loses his cleanliness and structure. But when he’s beatboxing in a livestream or battling online, he’s a complete monster to go up against when he’s just sitting on his chair and not moving so much like on stage. I know it’s an on-stage battle and you have to move and hype the crowd up showing your confidence and all but when your beatbox sounds kinda sloppy, it just doesn’t hit as hard and instead becomes a bit cringe. Again, this is not bad talking about Vocodah. This is just constructive criticism to take into consideration in the future! Vocodah is on my top 5 favorite beatboxers so I just wanna help him 😊
You make some fair points, though I do have to say that this mix is pretty dry and doesn't do his bass justice. There's a live recording of his battle against Inertia and you could clearly tell a difference in the texture of his sounds
Live sound might be better than video audio but Max clearly won, judging by the video
I was there live and sound wos not good but completly different, so Vocodah earned

i feel like we have been going backwards in terms of audio quality for a lot of live competitions. Its really disappointing.

the event was dope but the host was absouloutly horrible didnt even know anything about beatbox battles or entertainment. still giving credits for trying tho cuz i can imagine the nervosity

I think vocodah is losing his inward high pitch voice overtime......it doesnt seem as fresh & smooth as it was a couple of years ago, & also structure

@@elghaniy6305 but not nearly as powerful. A lot of time the louder battler wins because it usually sounds better through the speakers
I think maybe the high energy, plus how Vocodah knows how to impress the judges. I mean he used the badass drop that he used against Remix in the World Champs online which blew everyone's mind, especially Colaps. Plus I feel like Max didn't quite have as high of energy that he did in the second round compared to Vocodah. But that's just my opinion :)

I don't know what happens to vocodah in the stage sometimes his routines sounds like less cleaner and structured (not always, sometimes he destroy the stage), and yeah in the second round he recover the round (although he can sound much better), but I think Max do it so good and really clean, if he had done better his second round he probably could have won... just my opinion :p

@leatherslipper3017 mmm no I think is not that, yeah maybe the audio mix of the video is bad but that isn´'t all, you can heard it like for example in 3:18 vocodah's high inward bass is completely lost like doesn't reach the tone and texture, but yeah It is understandable, keeping the inward bass clean for so long and even more the high is very complicated

@@irvysion2557 another problem is that on stage the quality isn't the best. In fact, it is like if Vocodah has to "scream" his inward bass and that makes it really hard to keep all the variations and textures you usually hear when he beatbox in his room with his settings.
