I know ffp rules have a lot of weakness and bcs of that rules, now smaller clubs have a hard time to competing with bigger clubs. But the thing is, bcs of ffp, winning a cups, a CL or any european competition spots finally has meaning bcs you've got a money for that to invest that to make your team better. Heck, even the money prizes of PL now is distributed fairly imo. So the problem now is the sponsorship money, bcs just like city with pumping your own money or even any bigger clubs atm who has a bigger sponsorship, they can spend recklessly and making a smaller clubs having a hard time for competing with them.

Affiliated companies within same group can sponsor each other.. point is not about one or more persons being on board of these companies, but whether any ‘related party’ transaction can be shown to be on commercial terms…Etihad Airways sponsoring ManCity for £100M when it’s revenues are not much more than that doesn’t hold up..that’s got little to do with fact that companies are affiliated under same ultimate ownership or have same board members..
