The tarangalu are from the opera Sri Krishna Leela Tarangini and these can be found as devotional songs, prose, couplets, slokas. A krithi is a more complex musical structure with pallavi, anupallavi. However, Narayana Teertha preferred easy expressions. I like to call kalyana gopalam rendition a keertana or a devotional song.
