- Battle Packs have come out every year for LEGO Star Wars since their introduction in 2007. Unfortunately that seems to be stopping in 2021 so I decided to update my list of every LEGO Star Wars Battle Pack ranked worst to first! LEGO has created 39 Battle Packs to date including fan favorites 75035 Kashyyyk Troopers Battle Pack, 75165 Imperial Troopers Battle Pack, 7913 Clone Troopers Battle Pack, 8014 Clone Walker Battle Pack, 75267 Mandalorian Battle Pack, & 75280 501st Battle Pack! There have also been some duds such as 75000 Clone Troopers vs Droidekas, 75206 Clone Troopers & Jedi Battle Pack, 75198 Tatooine Battle Pack, among others.

Personally, I think that it's weird to not like a set because they made the higher priced people like senate guard cheap. I think that is a weird philosophy-- that's all.
I think he's viewing it from the standpoint of someone who spent $100 on a set with a couple commandos that could be sold later for a decent profit, only for Lego to release cheaper versions, thus greatly decreasing the minifigs' values. I'd be pissed if Lego did that to me

I honestly think that battlepacks with named characters are great. Not all of us have thousands of dollars to spend on LEGO, so being able to get unique characters for cheap is perfect.
Bro then they should be in a 20 dollar set then or something like that, the whole point of battle packs is to army build so you shouldn’t get named characters since no one wants an army of ki adi mundi’s. It’s even worse when there’s 2 main characters
They could do a minifigure pack for figures which wouldn't fit in a battlepack, you could just buy one for $10-15 with like 3 named officers or something

There were tons of 501st troopers in the star wars universe, you could see them marching bud, rarely see senate commandos, nice try on that one bud. Also stormtroopers are seen in rows of thousands, are you stupid? The only time we saw sith troopers was in the rise of skywalker, and even then we barely saw them. Man I hate idiots who try to make others look bad

Despite what you said about Jedi being in battle packs, I feel like two order 66 based battle packs would be great!
Hear me out:
One would have clone troopers only. Something to the effect of two 332nd clones, a shock trooper, and a plain white clone. The build would be like a cannon or a mini AT-RT.
The other would be a Jedi knight battle pack. I was thinking two of the four figures could be Jedi temple guards with double bladed yellow lightsabers. The other two would just be nameless Jedi wearing robes with blue and green lightsabers. However, each Jedi would have dual-molded heads with completely different faces on each side. That way one can buy multiple sets and just switch the heads around to differentiate the Jedi, or just add their own heads from other figures. The build could be a speeder bike or a car from Coruscant.
I figure a Jedi battle pack could also be a good opportunity for the glorious return of Jedi Bob.

The nostalgia I have with these old battle packs is so crazy right now. The droid and clone battle packs from 2007 especially. But also the rebel troopers and clone trooper battle packs. I loved the builds
and I really hope they continue making battle packs... especially for episode 2/3 things because I love those era of Clones/droids the best hehe

I was so exited when they put Bossk in such a cheap set. The Dengar, 4-Lom and Ig-88 were amazing too.

You seem more concerned with the exclusivity of your collection. This has happened in the past, for example in 2018 the Snokes Throne room set was the only way to get Praetorian guards before they were in a battle pack, similar story with Death Troopers. Respectfully I don’t understand why you do not consider senate commandos to be massable when the two previously mentioned examples never appear in groups of more than like 8 at a time.

the 2008 rebel troopers battle pack was the first lego set I ever owned and I still have it on display. its a little worn down from my playing with it for so long but it is such a good memory.
Let's go! I've been waiting for an updated list. I personally really like the sith troopers battle pack. It was the first one I bought multiple of.
I actually liked the senate commando battle pack, it helped me progress my own story with some diplomatic situations with senators, just me I guess
I don't understand it, he says that he doesn't like senate commando battlepack because they were only in 2 sets and it made them common figures and on the other hand he was begging for 501st battlepack (rare figures which were only in 2 sets) it's illogical
I agree with your assessment, there are some fallacies in the arguments that he uses, I had no idea how cool it was that I had three 501st troopers years before the battle pack came out, but know it feels even cooler to get more for cheap
The difference there is the Senate Commandos are rarely seen in star wars, meanwhile the 501st troopers are EVERYWHERE in Episode 3 and the Clone Wars series. I do think however that the Senate Commando battle pack is perfectly fine to exist though.
I think the issue he has is that the senate commandos in the starwars universe were rare and not seen a lot but on the other hand we see hundreds of 501st troopers in the starwars universe so it makes sense to him to have a 501st battle pack and not a senate commando battle pack

I believe his argument was we don't see them in mass army battles like clones they are more like a security so you don't need that many of them for army building this was also my problem once I got around 10 of them they just look weird like a army of mall cops.

While there's good value with the 501st set, it feels cash grabby and hard to call a battle pack imo. Just the clones and a minifig scale speeder or ATRT would've been perfect. Lego knew people would buy a ton of 501st so they made it a much larger set than necessary to "justify" the price point

The number 2 set is my first ever battlepack and it made my childhood so happy to have my first ever lego walker with all the clones. It's only recently that I've seen the hype over the 501st battlepack that beat it and man, I can totally see it.

I do think people are ignoring the elephant in the room with it... If it was a battle pack we could get double the clones for the same price. I know people (myself included) are trying to stay positive because it took so much effort and now we finally got it.

I used to play with Legos when I was younger, and I was a sucker for the Lego City sets. But when I got my first Lego Star Wars set, I was blown away by a certain mechanism that I personally hadn't seen before; and that was in the Senate Commando Troopers Battle Pack.. I sadly only own 2 Lego Star Wars sets, and that's the aforementioned Senate Commando Troopers Battle Pack and the Death Star II Duel or whatever

IMO they need to do another battle pack for rebels with all aliens, reusing some of the head molds from Mos Eisley Cantina. Nonhuman head molds are too rare given how common aliens are in Star Wars.

The original Mandalorian battle pack was my first battle pack. I mainly loved the design of the portable blaster cannon the minifigures could carry and I constantly replicated it when I could
I remember i had a few of these sets when i was beginning playing and building with legos back in 2015-2016 and it’s nostalgic to see them again because a lot of them have been broken and taken apart and i haven’t seen them in their prime in a long time

Just a thought: I think that the stud shooters work for the death troopers: If you look at the E-11D, it actually has an appearance similar to a stud shooter; all LEGO would need to do is to make an elongated version similar in appearance to a 1x1 rounded brick (I know I should know its technical name) on a regular stud shooter. The stock, as it should be, would just be the tap piece used on some stud shooters before this.
I see nothing wrong with a senate commando trooper battle pack. I don’t care if they’re seen in mass, there are only so many different armies that are ever seen in mass. Offering access to those figures at a low price is a great deal. Also having dozens and dozens of them together looks sick
