57:00 little correction: just like 3868, 1860 was renumbered to 3860, they did this because it makes different stops then the normal 1860 and 1868. 1848 and 1882 were not renumbered because the stops are the same.

Nice PM Peak Metro North P32 action to Grand Central, Poughkeepsie, & Danbury. I’m surprised NH unit 231s set got swapped because usually 870 turns into train #4953 to Wassaic. But it seems they swapped P32 sets at the last minute. Anyway the two Wassaic Directs trains #943 had P32AC-DM unit 221 leading & Shoreliner 1 Cab Cat 6101 trailing & #4953 had P32AC-DM 226 leading & Shoreliner 4 Cab Car 6314 trailing. Anyway Train #870 had 231 trailing the set at 26:00 must have been another train from Poughkeepsie but not #870 because #870 had 231 trailing and this set later on became Wassaic Direct #4953 to Wassaic. This set I think was supposed to be the hotshot #849 to Poughkeepsie but like I stated earlier they swapped sets last minute so this ended up being #4953 to Wassaic. But keep up the hard work hope to see more Rush Hour action over here again.

@@3985uprr Excellent reply. I believe that you've nailed it !! No one else did. If that's the case, then I think that there should be a quick across the platform switch for passengers to a dedicated, empty, waiting, electric to go to GCT. I guess you now think that I went over the edge, and that I'm touched in the head; perhaps so. I guess that the diesel would have to wait around until the next electric brought it's passengers to Croton-Harmon northbound. Oh, well ! Aarre Peltomaa
