Cats fan here. I have nothing but respect for the Swans and all their players and supporters should still be very proud and hold their heads up high and stand tall. There's a reason you've been along side Geelong as the two most consistent clubs of the last 10 years and it's quality and culture of your club and honestly I get the most nervous every time we play against you guys compared to any other club. It was only fitting that we finally played off in the big dance together, but it just unfortunately blew out for you guys in the end. Don't dwell on this and the result of the granny doesn't reflect on just how incredible your season actually was. You guys will be back in amongst the action next year and stronger. Dane Rampe delivered the best speech ever as a captain from the side that lost. The Swans organisation whether it be supporters, coaches and players are nothing but class!

First time since I was at the game itself I've been able to watch this, and as a life long Geelong hater I still feel all kinds of feels when they cut to Selwood after Dane congratulates him
Our boys were off on the day and suffered for it. They've bounced back and despite injuries and multiple heartbreaking close losses we can still make the finals
I'm so proud to be a Swans fan and I'll be there cheering the lads on whether it's at the SCG or at home

Geelong learned from last year, when Melbourne smashed them in the prelim. And Geelong just could not go with the Dees. I reckon Sydney might learn that lesson next year like Geelong obviously have this year.
