Teleportation and Parasitic Healing Plasmids should have been in the game. I hope they will be used in the next BioShock game. Furthermore, There are other cut Plasmids written in the game files such as Sanctuary, which would have created a protective bubble around the player. Eve to health and health to eve conversion Plasmid in the game files also sounds interesting.
Moreover, actual gameplay footage for Teleportation Plasmid was also shown in Ken Levine's Fisheries walkthrough, just take a look at my channel and you will see the clip.
Those last 2 sound great for a more explorative Bioshock game if the franchise went the direction of system shock 2
I wish i could teleport in real life it would help out alot
A version - “Houdini” (I think it was called..) - was useable in the BioShock 2 multiplayer! It was one of my favorites and I usually had it equipped! It made you invisible for the duration of the amount of eve you have in your bar. The probably only time we will get to experience it. It was AWESOME!
I know my friend :) It's one of my favorite things to use on PC Multiplayer. It's just hard for me to become accustomed to playing MnK after being on console for so long.
Jesus we multiplayer back into the collection now
When I got into the secret room and saw the vending expert 2 and the statues all around it I thought they were weeping angels from Doctor Who. Every statue is a weeping angel to me after watching the Don't Blink episode. They all stare at me no matter where I go.
there was a person using the teleport plasmid in burial at sea episode 1. it was a waiter helping guests
I thought that was the Houdini plasmid
@@KnoxCarbon what?
@@_Roland157 A plasmid from BioShock 2's multiplayer
Yeah, when I was playing bioshock 2 I was also hoping that at the end of the chasing bottle, I would be able to get teleport like Hudini :(
I think the teleportation plasmid could still work, how it would work is that it when the plasmid is activated it you can hide from your enemies temporarily. Once hidden you may move to a safer spot and reappear; you cannot however phase through objects in the environment, but enemies, mines and turrets will not effect you in the time you are hidden.
I'd love to see a fixed version. Hopefully if that can fix it, we'll see it/use it in the future.
Basically, blink from dishonoured
Essentially, minus the broken issues.
the idea i had in my head playing the bioshock games for the first time recently was that they were either such a hot commodity, or so expensive that the supply of teleportation plasmids was exceptionally small. Eventually over time only a few would remain who had the power to teleport, or could get ahold of the plasmid. *shrug* just my own thought on it.
Awesome video dude! Good to see you've hit 700 subscribers! Hopefully many more to come!
And again, I appreciate the help my friend
Amazing now he has over 22thousand..
@@TheBioshockHub 28k good job
Nice video man! The first time I made into the secret room with the vending expert 2 tonic I was like, "What in the hell just happened?!" keep up the great work my friend!
New bioshock in development lets get that tele!
Indeed. I'd love to be able to use Teleport.
A little bit more specific, but i like it
I remember this plasmid! :) I kinda feel like you could make out a theory from this concept- maybe with multidimensional tears, such as the ones in BS infinite. Who knows, it is an intresting thought. :)
All this plasmids does is an organic teleportation it disperses a user into a molecular invisble cloud and reasembles one again at a distance probably couldn't teleport one out of a sealed enclosed room unless there are cracks
I’ve learned a lot from your videos. Today I learned your name’s Eric. Nice to ‘meet’ you! 🤣
I’m rewatching some of your classics
Hi I'm an Arab I do not understand English I translate videos in Arabic because I am a fan of bioshock
😗
مرحبا محمد انا ادرس اللغة العربية!
و احب bioshock!
انا احب ايضن استخدام الترجمات ممارسة
It's okay. Hope you enjoy the videos however you can :)
Then how do you translate it to Arabic if you don't understand English?
I feel like they could have made it similar to the teleportation mechanic in most vr games, where you aim at where you want to go, fire, and get teleported there.
Great video!
Glad you enjoyed!
I feel like, based off of the issues you described, they could have gotten this to work. Couldn't they have just coded it so that once you enter the Fisheries, RCC, or take your first dose of Lot 192; your teleport nodes despawn? And for Arcadia they could just code it so that you can't place a teleport node in the Rapture Metro Station until after the seauence with the dying trees haplens. I don't know snything about coding, but this seems like it could have worked.
Hey erik i know this video is uploaded on march Im just gonna say that the Plasmid you're talking about is going to get abused by SPEEDRUNNERS :D if it was released
Omg my trypophobia is making me anxious looking at Delta's hand with Insect Swarm plasmid. But great video nonetheless, keep up the good work!
I'm sorry :/
@@TheBioshockHub oh don't worry, I know it's your favorite plasmid and I just decided to listen to the video rather than watching this time ;)
I have a tip to you. Read the book!!! Bioshock: Rapture from John Shirley.
The Novel is in 1945 to 1959. The past, construction of rapture, the civil War...is very good.
How Andrew Ryan changed....
You can make videos talking about the past of rapture.
You can make videos talking about the Characters...
Ps: Sorry for my English.
I have one of the books and trying to get the others soon :)
I am :) I'm almost done with the book and I've got a ton of ideas from it.
Ngl dishonoured did a good teleport that if in BioShock would've been cool
The plasmid is in Bioshock infinites dlc Burial at sea tho. And the plasmid is called houdini. But the way it works is different, you attack an enemy, then you become invisable go behind an enemy then appear again so, its only in the dlc
Of bioshock ,hope you see this
DOOPSI IS ALIVE it’s called peeping Tom in burial at sea when Elizabeth uses it! A variation of what the Houdini splicers use.
Teleport Plasmid sounds really cool, but Unstable Teleport Plasmid sounds WAYYY cooler, i really wish the unstable teleport was a real useable plasmid in the game, its sounds FRICKEN AWESOME to have a plasmid that makes you Randomly teleport to any of the places in game, as well as rooms with enemies or other items, i know this can be unfair because this can screw you over too, but still the whole Randomness concept with this plasmid makes it very intriguing in my opinion, thus is should be a double edge sword, either it teleports you to safety but can have a fair chance to Fuck You UP.
Can you imagine using the Unstable version of Teleport and you end up outside of Rapture lol?
@@TheBioshockHub That would really be cool... lol =P
I just sub good channel keep it bro
I like this brotha. Keep it up
I'm glad you enjoyed! If you want to see more Lore videos on Bioshock, there's a playlist on my channel my friend :)
@@TheBioshockHub I will. Thank you. Do you do any on G.o.W?
Unfortunately not yet, however I might on my second channel soon
And I always thout that the dark room with the human like statues is a Easter egg for sander cohen cuse he did make statues in fort frolic well that my theory
It actually was released to the public , however it was only given to waiters or tenders of the public, you see this in burial at sea episode 2 where a waiter used it to quickly light a cigar and then give a drink to another to another person in seconds
Thank you for that
Sorry there where a few mistakes, it was in burial at sea episode 1, and in bio shock one the hoodie splicers always have waiter outfits or tends of pubs, sorry for the errors and grammar
@@thedragonfan1570 No worries my friend, I knew exactly what you were referencing :)
this instable plasmid is the only way to get a little sister to the outside of rapture
Yes it was? Multiplayer able to use Houdini Plasmids in high ranks. Right after Plane crush down Rapture until Jack arrive. In Bioshock 2 Big Sister had teleport too like houdini splicer with fire come out their hands. Delta found in Marketing Department there's a secret door with money, Teleportation Plasmid. 7:36 Then fellow Teleportation Plasmid can touch again and you have found secret unknown location and you have Gene Tonic Vending Expert 2.
Did you listen to the video lol? Everything you said, excluding Bio 2 multiplayer, I said in the video.
Yes, were right. I was wrong. This is different. After this video, what's next?
All good man, didn't intend to sound like a dick or anything.
Thanks for everything and keep work on Bioshock story.
Erik how have you been today?
Really good, just a bit sore, but can't complain :) You?
TheBioshockHub I have been good hope you feel better.
Thank you
TheBioshockHub No problem anytime my friend.
Teleport plasmid could very well be used if only Bioshock were to conert to VR.
I think so too. I just know they had a TON of issues trying to actually get it to work within the game.
@@TheBioshockHub Well, yeah. It wouldn't really work in a first person shooter.
But in a VR world? Teleports are already in a lot of games. It'd be really easy to add it into the game. Especially since they both have a plasmid for teleporting and telekinesis, AKA the way the player can move and grab stuff.
How do you use eve hypos in bioshock 2 without holding L1 or R1 and then pressing □
Probably a keybind on pc
So I got to the teleportation plasmid and it took me through all the scenes like in your video. But now I'm stuck in a dark place in the game. It won't go back to where I last was I'm just walking around in the dark. Idk if it's a glitch or what but I stuck and can't do anything else. I cant go back to where I was at last cause the game got saved. Is there away you can help me out.
That sounds like a glitch. You may have to reload a previous save unfortunately. I've personally not experienced that, so I wouldn't know how to fix it.
Lol damn okay. yeah I tried to go to reload it but it just keeps taking me back to where I am stuck at.. lol I think I might have to start all over from the beginning. Noooooooooooooooo.
@@johnrodriguez4088 Holy shit. I've honestly never heard of that particular glitch. I'm sorry John.
Haha it's all good. Thanks anyways. That is just weird.. I thought it was part of the game and so I just kept walking but I got bored and realized the game messed up. But it's such a fun game that I dont mind starting over. This was actually my first time playing bio shock 1-2
@@johnrodriguez4088 Did you like it?
Hey have you play fallout 4 they do have some big daddy mods on that game
HELLO I am back
Welcome back.
