Mike Brady's boss gifts him a pool table -- so Carol plans a dinner to thank him! #BradyBunch | Now streaming on Paramount+ Where to watch: para.mt/BradyBunch
Oh, no. They were terrible clothes, all artificial fabrics and poorly cut, in weird colors. The men are OK, because they're dressed very conservatively.
She turned up in a different episode, ( The one where Cindy wanted to be like Shirley Temple. 😳) but that would have been great if she was on this one. 😊
@@jenniferhansen3622 Agreed, I don't care for it either and Susan Olsen even said it was her least favorite episode to do because she felt she was too old to be dressing like that.
This is The Brady Bunch, not Gilligan's Island. 🤣🤣🤣 All joking aside, this is the third time you see Jim Backus as a guest star on this show. First, he was the prospector when the Bradys' ended up in the ghost town en route to Grand Canyon. Now, here he is again as one of Mike's bosses/ clients.
Those hemlines on the women's skirts make me think of when my mom's friend wanted her mother of the bride dress hemmed up to show off her shoes! Thing was it was a pretty full circle skirt and the hemmed fabric that came off it was like 15 yards! Same era as this episode! Haha!
When Mr. Philips kept adding people Mike should've said, "Let's just do it another time when you don't have other obligations." He sure was hung up on pool. His poor wife had to endure having the pool table in her living room and it sounds like here, that's where he expected to find the pool table he'd gifted the Bradys with.
When Peter was about to get a crow bar and hammer, and Carol said that since it was addressed to Mike, that he should be the one to open it. When Bobby said, "You mean we have to wait till Dad gets home?", and Carol replied, " Right!", I was anticipating Bobby's reply to be, "Aw, that sucks!"
Question: How did Thurston Howell III lose his fortune after getting off Gilligan's Island? After that, what did he do with Mr. Matthews? He's hoodwinking everyone pretending to be the CEO where Mike works. I'm surprised nobody in the Brady household noticed he's an imposter, and only is able to fool everyone that he knows anything about architecture by bribing the staff with free pool tables. Sherwood Schwartz had a lot of explaining to do.
The women are so elegant in their maxi dresses and the men lok so wel dressed! LOVED living in this era. Kim

I agree about the men's clothing, I liked the way they dressed Robert Reed in the last two seasons.
I loved maxi dresses. I love the clothing style from the seventies!
“Too much work for Carol” … don’t you mean ALICE??
Exactly. She’s the one who does all the cooking and serving and cleaning up.
@@SMKovalinsky That's what I thought. Carol helped but Alice did the lion's share and Carol had to play hostess. Alice did everything.
Carol don't do shit😂
Carol was lazy af lol
And to just prepare an extra serving of soup. Oh, the pain of it all.
I half expected Lovey to show up as his wife.
She turned up in a different episode, ( The one where Cindy wanted to be like Shirley Temple. 😳) but that would have been great if she was on this one. 😊
@@jenniferhansen3622 Actually it was the episode right before this one.
@@kenlompart9905 Oh, that's right. I don't like that episode, so I usually avoid it. 😆
@@jenniferhansen3622 Agreed, I don't care for it either and Susan Olsen even said it was her least favorite episode to do because she felt she was too old to be dressing like that.
@@kenlompart9905 I always feel sorry for her when I watch that episode, so that's one of the reasons why I don't like it.
Carol, Marcia, and Jan were looking good in this episode
bruh lmfao
Jan was sad because she wanted the Pool table for herself.
When you are tricked into throwing a dinner party for your boss and his friends...
love how Mike’s office is clearly just his den with a slightly altered background lol
Yeah, I was wondering about that. I was are they in his house? I was so confused, lol
Thursten Howell III and Mr. Magoo! Thanks Jim Backus
Thanks?!?! How obtuse can he be? He's hauling over all of these other people, and then insists on pool instead of hors d'oeuvres and schmoozing!!
@@monkeyb1820 One of a kind! Actually "obtuse" is perfect.
@@Wolf-qh2lk I learned that one from Shawshank. Backus actually looks a bit Warden Nortonesque, but not quite as sadistic.
I'm surprised more of the Gilligan's Island cast didn't make guest appearances on this show considering Sherwood Schwartz produced both of them.
Too much work for Carol......even though she doesn't work and has a full-time live-in maid!!😂
This Is The Last Episode Of The Brady Bunch With Mike Brady.
Then Greg uses some bad hair tonic😂
Yep … Didn’t he come out of the closet at the end of the series ?
I hope he didn’t take a 3 hour tour with his boss, a three hour tour… 🎵
Where did they say he went? I don’t remember a show without him. Or that he left.
@@TomMarvanlol😅😅😅😅😅
Mr. Mathews should have invited Gilligan to play pool.
He should have invited Ginger for a dip in the pool!
and the professor and mary ann !!!😂😂😂

Don't forget Skipper
Gilligan would've fucked up the pool like the things he did on the Island that prevented the castaways from being rescued
i miss this show
Geez Louise. Mike and Carol were both so 🤩🤩

I remember Bobby winning a big box of bubble gum.

There were no other Saturdays in the entire year that would have fit the plot.
There's a rare error in grammar from Jan at the start of this clip: "Presidents sure do eat good..." The characters usually spoke so well.
That pool table is getting expensive.
As a kid I didn't realize that was Mr Howell because he wasn't doing the voice.
Back at a time when people dressed up for dinner
I thought Mr. Phillips was Mike’s boss - “broken down barnacle barge” when Carol had laryngitis.
Bobby the pool shark
Hey! It's James Dean's Dad from the movie, Rebel Without a Cause!
First he locks them in jail and steals their car then he invites a bunch of people over to their house for a free dinner and pool.
Yeah, he was the pushy type, wasn't he?
Marcia and Jan ... so cute
Mr. Howell had a pool table on Gilligan's Island. It was shown on episode 13 of season 1.
Omg we need to bring back brown suits. The perfect backdrop for women’s colorful polyester outfits! 🤪
I hate brown suits
Marcia was hot
Every normal teenage boy in North America thought so.
Jan (Eve Plumb) was hotter.
Marcia and Jan…in the kitchen…standing behind their mother Carol…
I really liked this scene
Carol's actress she also voiced Grandmum on Sofia the first

Glad no Cousin Oliver,
He is not in this clip, but he is in this episode, though.
I didn't know Mike Brady worked for Thurston Howell
Both Marcia and Jan stopped wearing bras in the last season. Some type of protest
Yes, I read something about that in one of their books.
Yes, but Sherwood told them to start wearing them again.
@@kenlompart9905 - That’s because Jan’s were unusually floppy for a teen girl …
They do have bras on. You can see the shadow through their clothes.
Mr. Howell likes to play pool?
So Mr Howell was Mike Brady's boss. Was that right before he got shipwrecked?
After
Little woman? Jesus. 🙄
I can guarantee you at least one person is gonna post about how wonderful the early 70s were, so much better than now, yadda yadda . . .🙂
@@demophys4883 They will be right.
They needed to show Carol in a bikini.
Some people are just assholes.
Those are Mr. Brady’s favorite people …
@@Clyde-2055😮!
Did Mr. Howell invite Lovey?
I didn't see any pool table
What did Carol do for a living? 🤔
Housewife since her husband Mike had a good paying job working as an architect.
Jan felt She should get the pool table.
If Jan hadn’t been such a flake, she would have been quite the catch …
Come on color don’t match, fake hair
