I had what was called "the papaya injection" done in 1983. It was to dissolve inner disc, give it more cushion. I would be terrified to have ANY procedure done anymore. I was never tested to see if I any allergies to it, was never warned that it might fail. They discontinued this procedure BECAUSE IT DISSOLVED DISCS ENTIRELY!! So now I have no L4 + L5 discs. I wonder how THIS CEMENT will crumble years from now??? I WOULDN'T RISK IT!!!!
How long is the downtime for this procedure? I'm guessing that ot take a couple of days for the cement to fully cure??
