Hey I was wounded if it’s timed? Like do you have to pack a certain amount of packages in an hour. I’m looking to transfer
Do you really think they don’t timed everything ? haha
They keep track of your rate yeah. If you're fallin behind they let you know. If you're a newbie they let it slide for your first few weeks. This guy probably has no problem though he builds boxes fast as F.
I never saw a single video of Amazone male staff packaging box very neatly.
Love it! I scan at a warehouse as well.
Why is no one talking about how fast he folds those boxes
ikr, gotta keep that rate up
I didn't imagined someone making boxes as fast as him/her
her? really?
Comfortable, high quality shoes is a must with this job.
Lol
What intrigues me the most is wanting to see how they pack the larger items like furniture...
Furniture would be at a non sortable facility. It does get "packed", it gets a scheduled box truck delivery when it's something the size of furniture.
This would be a standard Amazon AR sortable facility, handling medium to small items (18 inches long or less).
This looks really cool, I kinda wanna try lol
I'd love to work there. Just in your own little space working quietly ❤
Best thing is the flipping the boxes shut and throwing in the protective paper into the envelopes xD

Thank you for this video. I start tomorrow
"pack side really needs to step it up" geeeeee, what else is new, pack always gotta be packing faster no matter what
Ahh yes, nothing sounds more satisfying than the sound of dread and boredom. Subbed!
The endless chatter on the PA system would drive me bonkers
Wait... the site I work at just recently started using those types of boxes!
You loose your mind doing this and similar monotonous shit for 10, 12 hrs a day. Plus Amazon expects you to maintain robotic super fast rate.
Its not bad once you get used to it tbh but yeah i hate being trapped in a warehouse for 10hrs straight staying in one location
It’s funny how a bunch of info about rate is said that is a lie … to make rate at my Amazon fulfillment center it’s 150-200 items an hour … for example you get one order of 45 items in one box that takes 5-7 minutes to pack you already have 45 items in less than 7 minutes down out of 150-200 lmao some people complain to much … the job is easy hell every job can be boring and every job has a requirement
@@Ed_Rod214 at the one i work at they expect 350 units per hour, but honestly it still isn’t hard at all. Your takt time is suppose to be 9secs im already at 7 without feeling rushed or tired, its like any other job, you get used to it 👍🏾
How do you know the box size before pack the items? And where do you get the items? It’s kind of an individual basket for each shipment?
Computer tells you what package to use, after the scan
It’s a computer a screen at every station that’s tells you what box size and how many items , the items are behind you in a slot wall
@@officialdjcpurp8158 How do they get there? Do they get picked by other people before?
@@igotyouallday9483 based on where I worked, they come to packers on conveyor belts after the items are picked by pickers from another department
I'm very new to this kind of job. I'm a caregiver and want to try something different. I'm getting into this kind of work very soon and was wondering how do u know which items to pack if they're are multiple items
I am enjoying watching the packing and the woman has to speak so much over the PA system.
