Bowing down to greet people whether above or beneath. That's the culture. INDIA. Mr. Modi, the only leader to do that.
PS: Maharaja is beautiful and has got a lot of screen time.

They landed at an Air Force base, it's called RAAF Amberley. But the the rest of delegation went to Brisbane International, only Air Force One went to RAAF Amberley, due to security reasons. There were a tonne of USAF aircraft around Brisbane that whole week, plus USAF helicopters flying Obama around the region. Also you see the USA B757 in this video too

lol ! these people are acting as if coordinating 20 aircrafts a big deal..clearly these people haven't seen the Mumbai or the JFK airport !

its cuz we didnt wanna look like fools infront of multiple world leaders, especially in an airport thats in our 3rd largest city which wasnt intended to handle as much as JFK or mumbai.

Cool your jets mate, BNE had one main runway at the time of this event and is nowhere near the same size as Mumbai or JFK. And all these planes are not typically ones you can instruct to just sit in a holding pattern on the taxiways when it gets busy. This was a big deal.

I hate it when doing your job correctly becomes an achievement! Nothing impressive there at all. Just some folks' day at work!

Joe Samson .. while they may have not done anything outside of their respective "position descriptions", the fact is this was a unique and important event with worldwide coverage. Not sure of your employment status, but if you've never worked at a large company that is required to handle something considered to be a large unique event, I can assure you as someone who does work in a large company that it would never be realised if the people organising it worked their normal pace, their normal hours and weren't at all flexible. That is to say, when something of great importance like this happens, you will find people working harder, outside of regular hours for which they may not be paid and they may be doing things they don't frequently have to do.
But let's put this another way ...
Say you had a loved one involved in a terrible accident, and all signs pointed to such bad trauma that they were as good as dead. They get taken to an ER where they are assessed as critical, taken to surgery, the surgeon works 12 hours and eventually saves your loved one ... you're telling me that surgeon would not be worthy of your appreciation as all they did was do his job? ...
I realise planning for G20 is not life saving work, but the fact is your original statement was generalised, and there is no greater sign of lazy opinions than generalised statements.
