No. They were no physical nephilims after the flood, God used the wisdom of the flood to cut them off physically.
The issue with the scouts was the state of their minds. Probably based on the stories they had heard over time.
The issue with Caleb and Joshua was also the state of their mind, because it showed they regarded God's word in their heart. God's prophecy about their victory, above the challenges.
