I work 40 hours a week and I'm in a relationship. I got Dark matter in 2 months with playing 2-4 hours a day after work 4 days a week or so, and a little more on days off. You can get it if you just try to get the challenges done. It's easy to get if you're not bad at the game. Also it didn't hurt my K/D too badly, i started the game aiming for the challenges anyways, K/D is about 1.2 overall. As long as I'm above 1.0 for the entire game I'm happy.

If i were to have prestiged as soon as i was able to each time i would probably be up there as well, but as I said, i went purely for camo challenges off the bat. So if I was working on the M8, and i wasn't done, I'm not going to prestige and lose access to said gun. Sure i could perma unlock it, but there are other things I wanted to unlock first, So i would finish off those higher level guns before prestiging and starting on a new gun.
I thought I was the only one that has to carry the team each game. Each game there's at least 3 teammates that are like 2/17. If your doing bad leave I don't know how they can take that punishment.
True once I get a less than 0.5 KD ratio with at least three deaths, I'm out.

But alas we usually only get 1 out of these 4 each year. They need to go back and look at what made COD fun in the first place. Instead we have stupid shit like boosting(Aw, Bo3) or atrocious maps(Ghost). Plus instead of taking the good things from Bo2 they take the stupid shit. No good scorestreaks boring maps, horrible DLC. Anyways i didnt mean for this tobecome a fight over how good or bad this game is. Sure its not the worst COD and i have had fun at times but with all the problems listed above(especially the horrible streaks and map balance) im probably not gonna play this game again until the next DLC.

I'm a college athlete and I have dark matter camo. Just play in my free time. At class, study hall, doing homework, practice and games 90% of my day, but it also wasn't hard at all to get all the camos. Just a bit of a grind and not caring about your KD. Your KD will go back up if you are as good as you say you are. (Everyone who says they want to keep their KD up. Its all about SPM now. No one really cares about your KD)

I got dark matter Thunder, didnt require me nolifing this game. Going for the camo actually made the game more fun for me, got bored using the top weps after a week or two, then the dark matter grind using all weps made the game more interesting. Now that im done I play maybe 1-3hours a week.
I only play on weekends and i got dark matter this week. Its a grind but worth it.

The challenges for dark matter aren't all that bad. If you just stick to it (and get the snipers and shotguns done first), someone on your schedule could do it in a month. Totally worth it imo.

1.) You can multitask while watching videos and doing any number of things unlike playing video games that require your undivided attention. Right now, I'm simply writing notes for school so writing this comment to you only takes a minute or two. Playing a video game will take much more time.
For me, and I think a lot of other people, going for camos isn't really about the look of the camo, more so about the grind for it. It's hard for me and apparently many others to just sit down and play the game straight up, but I find enjoyment in going for challenges and making/seeing progress

All I play is hardcore on BO3 Thunder. I got tired of all the inconsistency when it comes to gunfights, and the sloppy hit detection on normal. One of the reasons I didn't mind Ghosts was because of the good hit detection, maybe a little to good.

Go Thunder, not expecting to ever get my dark matter, but it keeps the game interesting. In my opinion it's good to do challenges and try out every gun of the game and give it more a shot then just 10 bullets. This count for me the same as all the specialists.

I like watching Thunder's videos (only videogame channel I watch) and I'll play The Elder Scrolls Oblivion a few hours a week when I come back home from work, and that's about it for me. If others want to play 8-12 hours a *day* then have at it! I just don't see how that's fun. No work, no school, no life, it just seems like a miserable and unfulfilling existence to me, you know?
Easiest way to get dark matter: AR's, SMG's, LMG's , Shotguns & the drakon sniper play Hard core. locus and SVG Snipers in Ground war. Combat knife and Launchers play chaos moshpit. you can also do launchers in core domination, streaks run heavy in that game mode. I only play about 2 hours a day and i have Dark matter. you just have to stay dedicated to the challenges. For those people who say it lowers your KD they're going about getting dark matter in the wrong way. it's all about strategy!

Dark Camo is a grind to unlock. I play 1 or 2 hours a day a few times a week have it unlocked on PC. Saying it's only a camo for "people with no lives" is an asshole thing to say with no merit. If you grinded for headshots in HC FFA rather than body-shots in Core FFA, you'd see it's not nearly as hard to get as you think.
It took me 3 yrs to get diamond on the sniper rifles on black ops 2 and the lsat also

I played 8 -12 hours on Black Ops and Black Ops 2 but I can barely play 30 minutes on Black Ops 3. The game is only fun when you're in a full party.
I'm working my way towards dark matter and hero gear because I know I won't get as much time to play CoD now, so that's my goal as opposed to getting prestige master level 1000. Skill challenges to show I'm yoloswag af.
I play around 4 to 5 hours a day but not just CoD, other games too. Some people just know how to manage their time.
I can't play more than 3 games without a break unless I'm in a party. Playing solo is stressful as hell.
