The Standard Gauge Oliver Cromwell has earned herself a new nickname: Angry Ollie. She's been angry at being held up at stations and whatnot. I'm glad the miniature version has a calmer whistle. It wouldn't do if she were to copy her big counterpart cousin, lol.
Nice video Lormouth :-). Nice shot of the 5 inch guage Britannia steam locomotive :-). It seemed to be running nicely :-). Well done :-). Nice stuff indeed :-). Thanks so much for sharing this :-). Alright then, have a nice evening Lormouth, plus I wish you all the best and take care of yourself Lormouth :-). Gracious wishes :-). From your friend Foxy :-).
Good stuff Jason. Steve gets the thumbnail for my upcoming video of the open day. Let ‘er rip Steve. Something I should have asked is there a record for fastest circuit? Steve looks like he’s making good time on a maiden voyage.
That's such a Beaut! We had a raised track until a bunch of accountants took over our track... they believed that a ground level track is more stable.... so we lost the majority of our members.. ASME.... Auckland Society of Model Engineers. I guess it goes with their belief system that gravity is a myth and creative accounting can counter gravity. It's such a pity that accountants are allowed to wreck the planet.
Hi, I have just bought a Winson Britannia, which is about 25yrs old it has had some work done on it but not a lot of history. Did you open up the cylinders? and do you have details of what you did? Also what was your solution to getting steam oil in the reservoirs, mine doesn't have a solution? Any help would be very appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Hi, this is not a Winson Britannia. There is a fantastic website with lots of resource and information about Winson/Modelworks Britannia building and modifications - www.britanniabuilder.com/

Beautiful loco and wonderful sounds .... great work steve....
That's a really nice looking loco.
The amount of work to do a full rebuild would have been massive, good to see it was worth it.
It's a pleasure to watch these steam loco's ❤
A green Britannia... nice look.
Great filming and editing, fab to see Steve's train running
Great steam locomotive Sir 👍😊
What a Beauty :) Thanks.
I remember that one, nice to see it got sorted

Very nice and fast!
Very nice locomotive
If you want a good match to B R Brunswick Green, try Ford Laurel Green. A motor factor should be able to mix it for you.
Just fab!

Delightful.
Fantastic loco. Really runs well. Thanks for the video. What colour is that?

@@ukmodelengineering Many thankls.
Nice job. Lost interest in mine and is up for sale.
I think he needs to go back to work for another 11 years! Awful livery and what is the hose hanging off the front buffer beam about?
Where is this?
@JintySteam the track is in Walton Park, Sale, Manchester.
Lovely model. Shame about the colour though.

If he keeps feeding steam that fast to cold cylinders, shudder to think what will happen. I
