Thanks Marvin. I've watched quite a few demo's of the Mel9, and yours was one of the best. I think you went into closer detail about how it works than any I've seen before. Well done.
In my opinion, one of the strengths of this pedal is the dual outputs. This lets you run the wet signal to one amp, while running the dry signal to another amp. Or, if you're recording, divert the signals to separate channels. That's very advantageous when it comes to final mixing and post-processing.

Well thought through review, you’ve covered all the things we needed to know without being too prescriptive. You’ve got a very natural presentation style, I hope you do more. I have an EHX C9 so am always interested in what their other pedals offer, thanks for the informative post.

Excellent review. These things are expensive but in a world of 1000 overdrives, delays, and fuzz pedals this thing is very innovative and musically useful. It sounds incredible.
Thanks for posting! Keep the videos coming! It would be cool to see how you produce a whole track with this pedal.

Charming vid (although, in your “rush to gush” over Choirs you kind of dissed the Sax😊. They are rarely used as chords - as I know you are aware - and Mel9 can make some cool single note sax runs; think jazz and 50s rock’n’roll…).
We could spend hours playing with this pedal and never play all our favourites - especially when one adds a fuzz or TS9 - even delay. Realising that you, and your family (?), have a Life away from the Mel9, I understand your reticence to do a 2hr vid, but with your obvious enthusiasm and command of your instrument, this was time well spent.
May God keep the smile on your face and a fresh song in your heart. BTW, I immediately put mine on the Flute setting and played the opening to Strawberry Fields Forever - in a very few minutes, it was just like McCartney sounded playing the Mellotron at Abbey Road. Aaahhhh … Thank you for sharing your thoughts and hard work. Forgive my verbosity.🤷🏼‍♂️

Thank you for the different samples. I need to use it for church playing and I am into more melodic music. It would be a great pedal. May I suggest that for the sax demo maybe a short attack and short sustain would be more like the saxo playing method. Also it would be good to hear you doing some finger picking not only the pic. Also some arpegios for the orchestra and chelo instead of only strumming with the pic
Not criticising what you did. It was great and very helpful for me to decide to buy it. In Australia they are above $600 dollars new and hard to find second hand, obviously because anyone who bought it, really loves it 😜
