Most of these ships are class lead ships. They underwent extensive trials. Russia is penny pinching about efficiency. There is no procurement unless MoD gives the go ahead. Admiral Gorchkov for instance did two trips around the World as part of the new class trials. Most vids I have seen of these ships undergoing trials had MoD admirals on board as oversight. They take their job seriously.

      Depends on the country…
Russia has surge capacity, they have 2 12 hour shifts at their factories so their factories work 24/7
Most of Russia arms industry is state owned. So they can directly control what goes on within their arms production, they tell the companies what they want and it gets made/designed.
In the USA we have private companies that all have a monopoly on one sector of arms, tanks, jets, rockets. We are sorta forced into some very stupid projects and things that lack quality and don’t work right like the “patriot air defense system”, we had no choice getting the F35 lighting 2, who else was gonna be able to give us a design? The issue in America is we have no industrial base, no surge capacity so if we lost 50 jets it would take like 5 years to replace them or so. I’m not writing verbatim but you get the point.
The pentagon came out with a report that says we will lose 3600 soldiers a day in the next war, they want to instill the draft again for this reason, so if we would lose that many troops think about equipment!!!
Russia can make 200+ modern t-90s a year which is a lot of tanks.
Russia makes 2-3 million artillery shells a year and they are increasing the amount by another million. You’ll hear they make 1mil but we think it higher hence the 2-3 mil
Russia wasn’t mass producing drones before but they stated they are going to build 2 million drones a year once production lines are started or developed.

@@Faith_Through_StruggleI would not be so sure… Russia has also consolidated large parts of its defence industry, perhaps even more than the us and although it may be able to surge capacity for existing designs it struggles to finance future projects such as armata in the same way the us can.

So, that's a total of 11 vessels to enter service in 2023.
(Noted, by the way, that some of these were "laid down" a very long time ago -- the submarine _Kronshtadt_ as early as 2005, and launched in 2018, so it's taken 13 years to construct and a further 5 to fit-out, test and commission. Its sister, _Velikiye Luki_, was laid down in 2015 and launched in 2022.)
At the St Petersburg navy celebration, Putin said 30 new vessels would enter service in the coming year. If it's taken so long to construct these vessels, you have to wonder how in the coming year the rate of commissioning will be 3 times the 2023 rate.
I know construction of a whole load of Russian warships has been held up because the propulsion systems used to be built in, and supplied by, Ukraine (Ukrainian state-owned enterprise Zorya-Mashproekt) and, not surprisingly, since the 2014 invasion, Ukraine has refused to deliver engines for Russian warships, so Russia has had to design engines from scratch (eg Project 22350 Admiral Gorshkov class); 3 Project 11356R Admiral Grigorovich class which could not be completed have, supposedly, been sold to the Indian navy.

      @LauftFafa Před 9 měsíci +2

well no , russia built indeed 30 ships this year most of them are already on sea and probably 5 to or so will make to sea soon . the problem is that the data on the internet dont get updated quick especially on places like wikipedia but many ships are indeed done .
30 is also not crazy . for russia its a start and means they are going back to full speed since they usually build like 5 or 6 ships a year , and last year 12 , this year its near 30 .
China build build some 70+ and while usa build from 50 to 60 a year

Time for correction to you and a little perspective so you don't fall in the trap of misguided confused relic that CNN sponsors. From 1999-2010 a total of 8 warships and submarines were made as a whole. From 2012-present over 60! So don't get bogged down with what you think you know and maybe look at a larger pic. In addition just for the navy alone a brand new dockyard was made called Zvezda and this at the same time where as USN had 13 previously is now down to only working 3. So before you criticize it wasn't Russia that lost a whole helo carrier to a fire. And no such leaders has existed the likes of Biden in over 300 years.
Edit: as I typed this out even I realized my numbers are in the low park when it comes to how many not just since 2012 but on average each year alone.

But not in the black sea, the only environment at war where they are needed and can't get new ships to as Turkey closed the strait of Bosphorus.
Currently it's confirmed by video footage these vessels are sunk.
      Saratov (exploded)
      Moskva (sunk by Neptune)
      Novocherkassk (exploded)
      Ivanovets (sunk by drones)
Caesar Kunikov (minor damage rapaired then sunk by drones)
Sergey Kotov (sunk in shallow by drones)
These vessels are severely damaged and not yet repaired, and might never be. Honestly with the damage I saw to Rostov-on-Don and Minsk they seem to be the least likely to actually be repaired, while the Olenegorsky Gornyak is undergoing repairs now.
Yamal (Storm shadow reported listing moved to a nearby drydock and saved)
Askold (Hit by one storm shadow picture evidence of radar superstructure damage, can be repaired but time consuming)
Minsk (storm shadow, superstructure destroyed, hull floated out, the Konstantin Olshanskyi was a decommissioned vessel of the same class who's superstructure was going to be fitted to Minsk was hit a month ago to prevent such)
Rostov-on-Don (storm shadow. Looks like two strikes or an internal explosion. Bow tubes and sonar as well as batteries, command and crew spaces might be destroyed. The engine and aft is fine. Lots of damage to repair, might be cheaper to removed the aft and build a new front. Essentially making most of a new sub)
Olenegorsky Gornyak (Likely will be repaired. Single drone strike. Dry dock time. Lots of flooding damage, time consuming but doable)
Ivan Khurs (damaged by Neptune, unknown state, tarp over rear list controlled by nearby docked vessel)
Kommuna (damaged by Neptune, likely not worth salvaging at it's age, but also prevents the salvage of other ships.)
There are many other vessels with minor damage that could have been repaired quickly or lacking video, photo or satellite proof and many small vessels sunk with video. All in all this is all going terribly for Russia as hard as Ukraine is getting hurt, this is only one theater of war and it can't protect it's fleet. Dry docks are short, safer dry docks out of range of Ukraine even less so.

@@The31stcenturyfox firstly keep in mind the war take place on land.
Since i have my comment above Ukraine lost nearly lost 500kms of land including 3 major locations avdeevka novomikhailovka and marinka and they are half way with chasov yar and others + all thermal plants of ukraine are gone.
For ships know Russia produce a lot per year . In 2022 Russia only launched 6 , last year Russia launched 13 , This year Russia will launch 33 and yes some will be built in black sea. In fact Russian black sea is bigger in size now if you are not aware. Only 4 ships were truly lost for good and sunk.
Also the 4 ships sunk one was a corvette that was built in the black sea early last year.
Russia do own shipyards in there .
And the ukranian chart is very wrong since they considers hits as a kill like the submarine who is on repair and will launch this june .
They claim to have sunk like 7 transports but in reality only 1 sank to the buttom and it was hit in 3 different occasions but ukro fans thought it was 4 different ships.
Finally Russia have no need of that fleet since the war is on land and Russia can literally build a whole blaxk sea fleet if it want in 2 years times if it truly desire.
Ships serves only as a plate-forme to fire specific missile types .
Btw Russia can use its caspian fleet to fire those missiles.
So in conclusion the stupid focus on ships and bridge are nothing but Pr stunts and ukraine always get punished hard like how they lost all their energy plants 2 weeks ago just because they damaged a Russian one.
For each hit and Pr stunt they get punished hard

One Borei and one Yasen class were supposedly commissioned so it aint zero. The idea that these boats were built with western tech is pretty dumb which rather tells me your judgement is impaired enough not to be able to find launching or commissioned data. They will eventually ( sans nuclear war with the USA) complete 14 bore class and 12 Yasen which will form the basis for effective area denial & nuclear deterrence well into the second half of this century. Part of the reason the USA made their move in Ukraine in 2014 was the fact that Russia had proved itself capable of starting to replace the legacy soviet Nuclear triad and were accelerating deployment of both submarine and silo based weapons.
History was supposed to be over but it turns out Russia didn't fade away as hoped and since the USA can not engage China while the Russian nuclear remains so substantial Russia had to be directly confronted in the vein hope of creating a collapse. Pretty stupid plan but this is what happens when the corporations increasing take over with increasing malleable puppets trying to make policy and maintain empire.

@@pinecone1208 I believe they have been built, but building is different from operating, maintaining and arming the vessels (just forget about a well trained, highly motivated crew). Look at the Russian documentation related to the inspection of their Black Sea flag ship (I would underscore FLAGSHIP), meaning it was the best of the very best, and their own inspection report stated the HVAC was non-existent, the radio could not be operated at the same time as the radar, fire suppression systems were hit or miss, and it had propulsion issues. They passed her on inspection and sent her to sea. Turns out not having your radar on because your flag has to issue commands is a bad idea in a warzone with incoming missiles. Did you see the pictures of those new vessels in sea trials? Same black soot and same low grade fuel but do they have the same crap engines with the same old limitations? We'll have to wait and see, but for now about the only thing one can say is that they look good on paper.

      @pinecone1208 Před 11 měsíci +1

@@lexwaldez keep in mind that ship in question was built well into the soviet era and had its last refit in the early 2000s. it was hardly a modern ship. A combination of older tech being used on it, and underestimation of ukrainian weaponry at the time led to its sinking. it was old and shouldnt have been sent into combat, it shoudlve been scrapped and used to make something more modern, it wouldve provided enough parts to make a mock-up lider, or 2 admiral gorshkovs. Russias black sea fleet is not a good example either as they have no large ship-building ports now after the fall of the soviet union and ukriane taking all of them, so every ship in the black sea fleet isnt quite up to par with the northern and pacific fleets.

Based on past Kremlin propaganda, I was expecting a flying nuclear-powered stealth aircraft carrier, a battle cruiser featuring a particle beam death-ray, and perhaps an invisible submarine with hypersonic nuclear torpedoes. 😂

Because traditionally ships are regarded as female, dating back to them being thought of as mother figures guiding and protecting their crew.

Lol. English is originated from England that is situated on the island and history of England was very strongly connected to seas and ships. So, ships were very important for English customs and traditons for centuries. So, because of their importance for history and existence of island nation , they considered them as living creatures, with soul. That's why they call animals like they are not alive - it, but ships are called as if they are alive - she. Female gender is better for structure you depend it and you like.

@@Anonymous-is6xu Bro they can't even supply their own forces with food and water. That's not western propaganda. That's what Russian soldiers on the ground are telling. They also can't maintain their passenger planes anymore. They had 2 accidents in just a few days. They also can't build more than 10 to 15 of their most modern aircraft and tank and the SU57 still doesn't even have the engine it was supposed to have but an old SU30 engine.
These are all facts that even the Russians admit and verify. When you hear all this, how can you believe they will build a big warship for hundreds of millions of dollars in the near future? Tell me plz!

Judging by your flawed perception of economics, probably at most ten years old. Get off CZcams and go do your homework Buddy, Russia’s GDP has increased since the war started

The way Ukraine is mauling Russia, if the ships actually get built, (and that’s a big if), they will likely be sitting in harbor under crewed, or even empty, 😂

Someone here believes the propaganda and the facts are as follows: 10 million Ukrainians have left the country. 30% of the infrastructure is in ruins. 20% of the country was occupied by Russians. There is no official data on killed Ukrainian soldiers. The economy is in ruins on the drip of the US and the EU, which are running out of willingness to support Ukraine.

Russia literally lost 4 ships , 1 capital ship and 3 ptboats .
3 other ships were damaged , 2 logistics (1 repaired) and 1 kilo class diesel engine sub also on repair .
black sea fleet literally got more ships this year than it lost , and russia recieved already 20+ ships this year .
this mean russia is outpacing the losses by a LOT . so remove this idea that ukraine is doing a pearl harbor to russia you are literally dreaming
