Places to see in Gulmarg - Bota Pathri | Gondola Ride | Maharaja Palace | Maharani Temple

We explored the places in and around Gulmarg which is 2 hours drive from Srinagar. The first place we went to was Bota Pathri, around 15 km from Gulmarg. The place has a stream of cold water coming from frozen lake, it is close to LOC. Another must do activity in Gulmarg is the Gondola ride where one can go to snow peaked mountains. We also visited Maharja Hari Singh's palace, the Maharni temple and had a delicious food in Gulmarg market.

The dancing and drumming looked fun - and they got you to join! Must have been so nice to go on horseback rides through the amazing nature and mountain landscapes. The trek to the temple and the top was very nice too.

Wow look at those trees! Unique looking pines. I love the mountainous backdrop. Absolutely stunning views! I'd love to spar through the forest on that funicular. What a fascinating historical home. That food looks good and the that lodge like diner looks cozy.
