Gonzaga should leave two non conference spots open for February so they can play Arkansas and Kentucky. That would be great and meaningful. You know that Calipari would be down to home and homes with Gonzaga, even if it has to be played at Spokane Areana. With Kentucky and Arkansas you could have a legitimate battle for Seattle every year, with an official trophy, it would be great! What do you guys think???? Please let me know!

Let's hope we get fogel. I bet it comes down to either us(gonzaga) or creighton. Let's trust he makes the smart choice and lands in spokane. 2. Not just not in the state of Washington but on the entire West coast. Gonzaga is the premier basket ball program of the West coast. Especially since 1999. Arizona is comparable, but look at our stats, ncaa tournament success, NBA draft picks and just overall dominance of the West coast. We are the best in the west: Look at Gonzaga's sweet 16's, elite 8 runs, the 2017 team, the the 2020 that covid 19 stole from us. Furthermore, the following year, National runners up: Damn Baylor, lo!. That 2020 team would have made it to "Monday Night. "
That was the year that Dayton has that amazing team. In my opinion, 2020 would have seen a mid-major national champ. Before Mark Few retires, Gonzaga will win a national championship! In just know it.

Folks, since 1990 UNLV, Memphis was 3 seconds from a title. Butler was close the first time, before they became a high major school. Loyola Chicago had a second half lead on Michigan in the final four. 2004 St. Joseph's to the elite 8. 2006 George Mason to final four. Last year we saw FAU play SDSU for a "Monday Night" spot. But Bondage in 2017 let that 10 point lead against UNC get away. Also, 2021 Gonzaga, runners up. Who knows about 2020, we'll never know. 2017 was our chance, lo!. But my point is that very few mid majors have success like gonzaga does. Our track record is a thing of beauty. ***** I have left Houston out of this equation because I never considered them a mid maajor. They are from Texas and now in big 12. Also, I failed to mention 1991 UNLV, they were one basket from title game, after winning g the prior year with 5 losses.
