    Great video gents, the content is much appreciated. I've noticed a few guys have shifted from running braid with fluro carbon leader to fluro carbon all the way through. I'd be interested to know your opinion on whether the line stretch afforded by running full fluro accounts for more hook ups? Cheers

      cheers mate. I know a few guys are running straight fluro these days and to be honest I've never tried it but it my mind the extra stretch that the fluro offers would account for less hookups. My way of thinking is you need to be as responsive as possible when that fish it's and sink the hooks in as deep as you can and the best way to do this is with braid. In saying that the straight through brigade are doing very well lately so it may be something I look into more down the track. Cheers

      Cheers mate, I run Sfactor on most of my baits, especially for yellas. For cod I don't know if its important but I'll still whack it on for confidence

    Hey just wondering what tackle trays / boxes you use great video

      I'm running some cheap plastics containers from bunnings in this one mate. Wilson make a good range of boxes that I use for most of my tackle

    Hey guys going down to lake Mulwala next weekend for a little trip and was just wandering of any good spots to go fishing around the lake (staying at one of the holiday houses) don’t have a boat so just any spots on land that are easy to get to ??

    • @nicky9589
      @nicky9589 Před 3 lety

      Without a boat, walk the banks, anywhere naer some standing timber, use big spinnerbaits, and also, tn70 jackals. There's heaps of yella's in there. Also, left of the boat ramp, is quite a good place to get some ripper cod, personally caught over 20 cod there, 2 over the meter, and plenty over 60cm.
