A successful AP-Lift replacement. I enjoyed seeing the inner workings of the F3. Gives me new appreciation for the engineering and build inside. Quite an enjoyable video.
Dan, as I mentioned in another video about my Brand New M3, I couldn't believe all the rattles on a brand-new unit. You may have just hit on the problem. Also, on the Swing Away Arm for the Controller, is there a way to tighten it. It is actually worse than the Edge 3's

Only a small job there then 😂, my storm 4 has seat lift and recline also tilt and I wouldn't fancy fitting a new one of those. That scraping, do you think that with all of the gravel that you go over, a piece could have got wedged in there, causing the damage to the bracket? Random thoughts, you mentioned raisins ha ha 😂 over here in the UK 🇬🇧, we have chocolate covered one's and they are super yummy 😋. Didn't see you putting any loctite on any of those bolts, will that be OK ? Super great video Dan thank you, 👍.

Great vid , I bet they would want 10grand for that module for my f5vs. Mine is just over 3yrs old and I'm always outside bouncing around, I have noticed a lot more play in everything lately
I had the same exact issue with my '16 F5 VS... Glad I had the service manual and common sense because I was able to tell my service tech exactly what it was when he couldn't figure it out (to his credit, they dont normally work with complex seating systems). I did find a place just to buy the slider parts/blocks, but I don't have the mobility to do the repair myself, so the mobility company replaced that whole seating assembly. Glad to know I'm not alone in my thought processes!
so you had the same parts break? interesting! where did ya find the replacement parts? im going to repair the old one now that its out of the chair :^)
@@TotallyNormal-Yes, the exact same parts. I was lifting and heard a pop and heard them fall away. I found the parts after googling the numbers that were on the halves that fell out. It was like a 10 pack, but wasnt that expensive. I'll see if I can find the site. If you still have the parts they conveniently have a number printed on the side that breaks off, lol. At least mine did.
Hi, been using permobil 2020 m3 for approx 3 years now, it has been everything needed to keep mobile with ALS,.The chair came with power tilt, back, leg, vertical lift but NO Anterior lift

Hello. My wheelchair just broke yesterday and had a same issue, one sliding u bracket broke. Looks like yours two bracket are good , maybe it possible buy from you that's two pieces ?
They said they had to change the ICS module in my chair did it basically the same thing you did to your chair 🎉and they🎉 I’m going out to program the ICS module module in my chair They’re gonna send somebody out to do that.
Hey Dan, Do you know how to adjust the tilt and recline angles using the wireless dongle by CW. When I try changing the angle I get an error “Value invalid - invalid characters entered for numerical direct edit type”. (2019 F3). Any advice is much appreciated!
ya can't adjust any of the seating settings on a permobil via the R-net side or using the R-net software at all. trying to do so will cause errors that can make the chair get stuck in inhibit mode, and not move at all. those types of settings have to be adjusted via "on board programming" using the joystick and its display
Hi Dan new viewer here. I have a m300 HD, and I was wondering if there is a way I can make the chair drive while the seat is lifted? I have a certain place I would like to sit, but I need to get above the footrest built into the bar, and then pull the chair into place.
they requires programming.. strange that the chair wont move AT ALL when elevated.. usually they still move, but just a lot slower.. if ya got the chair from a dealer, they should be able to make an adjustment, or depending on your location a permobil rep might be able to as well

The linear rail assembly is made by Igus and can be bought for a few dollars.

those tie downs are a terrible design if you use it to tie down again it will just bend again and rub surely ?
Do u know how to get a little bit more speed out of a quantum 2.0 wheelchair. It does about 6 mph now?
most of those chairs top out around 6 mph

A m300? It should go way faster that 1mph. Are any of the ICS lights flashing?
@@joshuawinne I actually got it to go full speed by taking the seat cushion off. So, I'm guessing some kinda short or switch??
