Before someone says “well, that is no different than a dolly”, it certainly is. With a dolly, the wheels are free rolling over the stair tread. Force is on handles pulling mass upward. Here the tracks are transferring the force to move the entire mass. If there is perfect traction there might be no damage, but if there is a slight slip, you’re going to have an angry homeowner.
