These rifts are so fucking unfair, ESPECIALLY the T&J/Reindog one
I accidentally cheesed the boss with Marvin, spawned a UFO off stage and he dashed into the edge killing himself.
This might’ve been the hardest rift for me. My gem levels are not as high as yours and when I had to fight LeBron James and Marvin, the Martian, I literally wanted to just stick in an electrical outlet just to get it over with

I find a way. Go shaggy to egde where they will be stuck and wont hit you and than charge and kick.

I cant currently do it bc my horror gems are only lv 7 bc they screwed us by having only having one horror rift so its my lowest gem level.

Why they didn't have an AI partner with you for facing duos in this one is beyond me.
My guess is that they're trying to make the fights artificially harder so not everyone can unlock agent Smith. It's insane that your skill doesn't really matter when it's 2v1, all you really need is high level gems
@@AdrenalSnakeREX Even without completing this rift on this difficulty I'm still only three away. The rest are all cake and then here comes random difficulty spike.
@@mcnichoj18 maybe because it's glitched and the devs don't care to fix it. delete the game so they can actually take some accountability. your gem level doesn't matter and that's the glitch. i have all level 8s and my friend has level 4s. we both take the same damage and do the same damage. deve are slow and losing players. im praying the game dies soon
Not that the AI partner even matters lmfao. They keep that AI on braindead novice mode where it's standing around playing with its nutsack for 2-3 seconds at a time. Does literally nothing to aid you.

Pick Morty, jump to the side of the map, spawn spaceship with up special, the dumb fuck will dive into the spaceship and die when he jumps back up. Do it fast cuz PFG patches these exploits faster than the actual problems in the game.

Whomever designed the rifts needs to be replaced and I don't take calling for people's jobs lightly but they really fumbled the bag. If youre not willing to spend a ton of glemium on rift gems like this guy obviously did i wouldnt even bother

Having gotten through all difficulties from the previous 5 Rifts (excluding Looney, of course), if I can clear this one on Insanity, all I need to do to get early access to Smith is to do up Easy and Crushing at the Age of Smith Rift when it opens up in 4 days.
knowing them the agent smith rift will only have insanity and looney just to make things more of a chore.
You need to defeat 20 bosses. Cant just wait for agent smith rift. Better get grinding!

At least the Rift itself is more manageable than the Megalodog Rift, especially the Smith Boss.

I'm not a MVS hater, but this is easily the worst riff.
It's filled with so many 1v2 teams with plenty of projectile users that you have to ringout 4 times, and the end boss is the dictionary definition of Broken.
UPDATE: Happy to report in Patch 1.07 they give an additional stock and an ally for various riffs nodes, including the Reindog + Tom and Jerry one.
Way more bearable.
Rifts on Insanity are still just as ridiculous as ever. I would seriously have an easier time fighting gsmvoid. It’s beyond ridiculous.

Pick morty (hes free this week) jump to the side of the map and use up special. It spawns the spaceship and the dumb boss dives into it and dies. Do it fast cuz PFG loves patching these exploits out instead of the stuff that they should be focusing on.

If you’re stuck on Tom and Jerry and Reindog go to the other path with all of the shark week characters and find a duo
I did that route solo with Superman. It's manageable if you can batter them with his Air Neutral punches to the sides of the screen.

@@bearosaurus4033 there’s some guides of how to beat the duo with solo shaggy, it also works (even better) for the Marvin/Lebron and Smith/WW duos.

i used iron giant and was able to get a couple of early cheese kills, thats what helped me win

You can cheese with Shaggy power up off the edge and spam kick
Clearad it first try by standing on the hoop to the left with Jason and holding up air (the bed) till I hit on of them, then quickly up special or up air to get easy ringouts

I've been stuck on the Marvin and Lebron one for who knows how long, its impossible to beat, I always get so close to making it with my main (Finn) but they just get a rage buff at the end and its game over every time, i wanna jump out the window while pulling my hair out

My gem level isn’t that high so I had to cheese with Superman 🤣
anybody who says they did it with the recommended gem level 7 is a lying pos to do this event NOW you will have to buy gem xp from shops or wait many days for daily challenge gem boosts, he had gem level 9!!!! to have that before even starting the insanity difficulty he spent real money......which goes against the whole " get agent smith for free" thing.

I had to finish this one solo with level 7/8 gems but this video really did not help as it only really taught me that I should spend money to make it easier

They blocked it because if it was available on all of the rifts, people would have unlocked Agent Smith way before his due date
And I did it! The Megalodog is defeated, and I'm two Bosses away from getting Agent Smith early!
I defeated him by tricking him into diving onto Morty's Saucer and he rings himself out! I uploaded the method onto my channel if you wanna see how I did it.
