I also understand re the Hobo Cousin. I used an avec this year for memory keeping, but I don't really use the weeklies. I decided to use an A5 Zequenz notebook for my memory keeper next year so I can set it up how I want it -- mostly daily journaling. If I don't have anything to write about in a particular day I'll put in a meme that makes me laugh, or a picture or poem I really enjoy.
I really wanted it to work but there’s something about not using the pages that just doesn’t work for me. I wish I had more time to do daily journaling , or even to doodle 😆
Ok, Oky, you sold me on the journal 😂 in my cart already. I hear you. I had the Hobo cousin last year, and it did not work for me. This year, I ordered the A6, and I feel that it is too much, and it is not gonna work for me. I used to use Rings Travelers' notebook and disc, and it was too bulky and heavy for me to carry, so I went with the Hobo weeks. But I think I am going to add the rings back to my planner lineup. We will see lol
My brother is autistic and he also fixates on certain foods. Right now he mostly eats hamburgers, pizza, chicken tenders, fish sticks, breadsticks, and french fries.

Oky! Ty for sharing your set up. A couple questions, what do you do with your personal sized inserts that you’ve used? Do you store them somewhere to make room for more? Second question, do you think you’d do a washi type sticker paper for the future? I have yet to jump into a Hobonichi, there are so many different ones it’s hard for me to choose haha but I do love the A5 size bc I tend to write BIG. I would love to use a hobo for content spreads. If you haven’t decided who to give it to yet, I’d love to try it out and take it off your hands! Love your videos!!
I will make a video of the insert storage, I actually have started using the plastic pink planners I carry to store them and I add the year to the front, I’ll film it so you can see 😊. For the washi type sticker I would have to look into seeing where I can purchase the product or find someone to make them 💕
