Can Mike do one on his gear?
Nitrocellulose is a lacquer, it’s the type paint used back in the 50’s. Gibson still uses, Fender used to use, now only on the higher end guitars. Now most guitars are a poly, or a urethane based paint. The nitro never really cures that’s why the old fenders and Gibson’s are so worn looking.
