Very good comparision! We had to decide which one we take (6175M or 6175R) we took the 6R which is the most sold one in germany (really sursprises me that the 6M´s are so popular in downunder!) Thanks again for this comparision!
How does the 6E compare to them? The 6E looks like a pretty nice tractor itself at a better price. I recently bought a 2018 5075E and looked at a 5075M. The M was a nicer tractor and a little bit larger and heavier duty, and if money wasn't a factor I would of gone with the M no question, but I didn't find it all that much nicer, nor did it didn't seem that much more capable even though the 5M series has some weight on the 5E series. Certainly not to the extent that people like to push them as being, and certainly not $15K+ better in terms of value. Great video BTW. 👍
6E series is only one unit ... With fuel pump, timing and mixture tuned differently . You get the 6E 105 ... The other two are not worth paying for, and have them tuned by a "pro" hacker that will do it at a cost many times less than the dealer would . They are cheaper than the M and R series . We have a 6120R ( and 8 other JDs ) on our farm . M & R are Manheim Germany, the 6E are assembled in Saltillo Mexico .
Why is the 6M more popular than the 6R? Is it because it now has some of the premium features that are very crucial and were only available in the premium machines previously?
Well we just traded the 6150R in for a 6155M. It had all sorts of electrical issues in the cab that the dealer could never fix. The Rs cab just recently got updated again so its still the same cab that came out in the 90s but its been updated over time and now its very modern inside but not too modern and most of all its SIMPLE.
@FordFan01 Tbh I found the 6M cab very small and cramped - especially if you have anyone with you. Our old Ford 6700 Q cab has more room. That issue alone would swing me to the R... Or a different brand.

@@niniv2706 Yep the R-series are worth the price difference. My dad bought a Deere 8260r last year, and it's nice to be able to have me, my dad, and my nephew in the cab together. At some point we may be trading our Massey 5612 on a 6130r. Congrats on your new purchase.

JDdriver95 Auusie’s seem to be more practical minded rather then needing a machine with a ton of bells and whistles.
If it was easier to get the GPS on a 6m I'd definitely get that over the R. I like that the M probably has the same dash as my 6400.

How do you like your 5075E? I have had my 5085M for about 3 years now.

Incredible Machines!!

What’s a ball park figure for these awesome units?
Around $140,000 dollars in Canada. More of course if you add all the goodies
@@shawnmacdougall3229 where are you finding a 6175m for 140. I was quoted almost 100k more for one with a loader
Dirk Vangarderen there was a misunderstanding somewhere. For 240k you’ll be in a nice 62XXR

Can you order a 6120 m with a 50k box
No 50k on M
M s are good value .r s are nice but over priced.i have both.buy the m full speced!!
Whats the price diference
At the current time the 6m is probably about £70,000-£80,000 and the 6r is say is about £85,000-£100,000
It's probably a 20k difference.
