I used the Airhawk for two years and it was great. I used it last summer to travel to California and not one issue with it. The batteries last an exceptionally long time and hold the charge very well. I only had to really charge it once in the week I was in California. I traveled with it everywhere around San Diego. It lasted the entire park around San Diego Zoo. It was a godsend getting around the airport! On my way home I had a layover in Texas and originally I only had 30 minutes to get from one of the Dallas airport to the other for my connecting flight to Pennsylvania. I would never have made it without my chair. I turned it up to full speed, zipped off the plane across the terminal to where I had to catch a high speed train to where my next gate was. Got on board no problems, but when I got off train, the closer elevator wasn’t working so I had to find another one. I made it to the gate with 10 minutes to spare! Then found out we were an hour delayed and I didn’t have to rush. The Airhawk stood up to the treatment by handlers and everything. I did upgrade to a different chair just because I needed something a bit more robust to handle my weight and outdoor activities. But I had no complaints about the Airhawk whatsoever!

@writergirl3108 I can’t tell you how much it means to read what you have written here. I have been thinking about getting one of these chairs for the last two years. I am dependent on my chair full-time, but my chair is 400 pounds and is basically impossible to fly with. Hearing your experience with this makes me feel like I would be able to fly again. Do any of them have a seatbelt?
