Patience of a saint Harvey. And no swearing 😂. Hats off to you.
Thanks, I have many hats, one must be patience :-)
What a useful video and what an exercise in patience! This could save hours of fiddling trying to work out the correct assembly method for anyone with this problem
Thanks. Yes patience is definitely required, I could have lost my rag with this so easily, not easy and very fiddly as I have big hands, but mastered the darn thing in the end. I had to as the alternative isn't worth thinking about. I hope it helps others in a similar situation having to wrestle this thing :-)
Не перестану повторять,у вас "золотые руки"
Спасибо за добрые слова :-)
I have a lot of respect for your work! I changed the lock based on one of your previous videos. Thanks for these quality contents!
Thanks, most appreciated, glad my video helped you :-)
Remarkable video, once more! Thank you sir🤙💪
No worries, glad to put one out, will try to do more ASA. :-)
Nice One Harvey!! Thanks👍
No problem 👍
It’s been a whole month harvey we missed you excellent video as always 💪🏻
Sorry for no uploading much content, but I hope to improve :-)
Many thanks to the author of the video for the video. The author is handsome!!!
Thanks, how do you know?
I would love to see a video about changing the micro switch in the drivers door lock. There are some, but they are not very detailed. The microswitch itself is very cheap, but the work is the pain.
Yes, I have one and should do a video on that for anyone wanting just to do that, I will do it, on my list, thanks :-)
❤
Merci 😊
Pas de problem :-)
Seems like it would of been easier to file the replacement clip to the original OEM dimensions than filing all the other parts. Good job anyway.
I did think that, but these are so fragile - they break at the slightest and the thought on taking ages filing such a small thing down with my number hands put me off doing that. I wouldn't risk it! In the end I didn't think I would have had to do so much filing either, one bit after another, but in the end it ended I mastered it anyway :-)
Does anyone know how to remove the key cylinder from the door to replace with a new one please
Have a look at:czcams.com/video/Wb3B9_nNn6c/video.html which shows you how to take the lock out :-)
I can't open the door with the key, it turns in circles. Will this also help? Thank you for the video
Yes, you will need the spares kit to replace what has broken, but be warned of the issue with the clip. You may not have this depth problem, but hopefully this video tries to address that to some degree :-)
