Son played all last season with a pelvic injury. He's just had an operation and will be back at full tilt next season. Bentancur missed most of the season and will be back in October. A couple of Center backs will be brought in plus Maddison so I predict a much better season coming up. I expect top six and a trophy as the minimum.

Lee, Maddison is a great signing. The front three and Richarlison are going to be banging goals for fun with him pulling the strings, and Bentancoer and Bissouma playing in front of the defence. All we need now is a couple of centre backs to go with Romero, Udogie and Davies to solidify the back line. Last but not least, get rid of all the deadwood we have collected over the last few years (Lo Celso, Ndombele, Sessignon, Sanchez, Dier, Tanganga & Hojbjerg)

It will be interesting to see how Spurs get on next season with no European football for the first time in many many years. Definitely in the talk for top 4, they will be back to the scary annoying Spurs who play attacking football and not the weak defensive tactics that they are not accustomed too. Getting new defenders in is KEY, heard good things about their new keeper.

I was blown away (as a Spurs fan) by the Maddison deal - couldn’t believe it was only £40m. Agree with you, Lee, why weren’t other top teams in for him? His signing could be a master stroke and convince Kane to stick around. However, I reckon he’ll be waiting to see if the club sort out its shocking defence before committing to anything. I have a theory that Kane has said to Levy, if you don’t show some ambition in improving the squad, I’m out of here! I’m in my 70s now and have had to put up with some incredible dross over the years but I believe your assessment of Ange is spot on and we just might be seeing some exciting football for a change! Keep up the good work. I enjoy the North London banter but with you it’s not blinkered - you say it as it is and I admire that honesty!

Mac allister 35 million (quality all round player who won the World Cup)

Tonali 55 million big aggressive all round player.
