The history of Armenian migration to Iran goes back to thousands of years ago. Since then the community of Iranian-Armenians has played an important role in the development of our country. Iranian-Armenians are one of the strongest and most active groups of Armenians in Diaspora and they have done some great political, economical and cultural contributions to our society.

Today he is owner of Jaguar land rover ( Which was formally a british company ). Tata is operated more than 100 countries. Wadia family also a Persi family . Unfortunately, after Iran's revolts in 1979 many Armenians and other Christian or Jews were left Iran because they felt unsafe under Sharia law and from 320,000 in Shah's time Armenian population in 2024 reduced to about 20,000.
We left in 1985, I was only 5. The main reason we left was due to the war. My brother was 15. You can only imagine what we went through to get out. My family had a good life, I remember my dad had his own chauffeur that drove him to and from work. We are always thankful to Iran 🙏

Iran will never recognize "armenian genocide", because Iran is a homeland for more than 30 million iranian Turks. Even the "Ayatollah" Khamanei is turkic from father side.

The Iranian Azeris do not view themselves as the same people as the Ottoman Turks, and they aren’t. The Azeris in Iran had nothing to do with the Armenian genocide, and have no problem recognizing it. I think they haven’t recognized it because they don’t want to risk the already fragile relationship with Turkey. Iran is under pressure from Turkey for being supportive of Armenia over Azerbaijan. Please read into the geopolitics of this region, as well as the complex ethnic identities and information before spreading misinformation. Thanks!
