Koh Lanta | Thailand | Exploring koh Lanta

We are on our second day of Koh Lanta and decide to explore the island by scooter. We head out early and go to Old Town Lanta for breakfast and sightseeing. We find the gypsy village and see how the locals live. We head for lunch to the amazing viewpoint restaurant. After lunch we went to the the other side to find beaches and -length of wildlife on route, elephant, monkeys, and reptiles, as well as crabs on the beach. We head back to the resort and for the evening we go to the recommended Fat Turtle Restaurant.
On our next episode we head to to the ferry port and get a speed boat over too Koh Lipe for a new island to discover.

Thailand has the highest death toll on the roads in the world, Lanta is reasonably safe, but you’ve always got to keep your wits about you, i have a house in Klong Nin, I’m from the UK.

We only hired a moped for one day in koh lanta….. and a car for 3 days to drive to khoa Sok from Krabi. But we didn’t feel brave enough to do more. We will have to look up Klong Nin, how lovely to live in such a country. We will definitely be back to explore more.

We’ve just come across your channel while, looking at places to possibly visit in Thailand. We have been many years ago and want to return. We want somewhere that’s a bit quieter but obviously do need something going on. Koh Lanta looks perfect. How did you get there? Did you come from Bangkok? Thanks

We got to Koh Lanta by ferry from Koh phi phi then went on to Koh Life which approx 3-4 ferry again, take a look at our Koh Mook, vlog its a quieter island, but we like it

please write, do the police officers on the island check the documents for the right to drive a motorbike?

Our passport and documents were checked when hiring the motorcycle but the Police didn't check us, although it's good to have copies on your phone when you are out on the moped
