Joe Musgrove showed GRIT today. He didn’t have his best stuff, but threw pitched 6 innings and delivered a quality start. GO Padres!
Not his best start but staying in and locking in is what we need, we can't give up after the first run.

I love what I’m seeing out of this team, they are finding ways to win. The 6 run rally wasn’t exactly an offensive display but the Pads capitalized on mistakes from the Brewers and manufactured a huge inning. Last year we might have plated 2 or 3 but this year’s team got the most out of it. Bullpen is looking great recently and we’re getting some gutty performances from our starters when they clearly don’t have their best stuff and fall behind early. Let’s win another series and keep the momentum going. I fuc-king love it!
The biggest difference between this year and last year for me is nobody is really trying to be the hero last year whenever a guy got on whoever was up wanted to get the big hit the homerun or the double off the wall but this year it's simply keep it going yes they are still going for big hits Profars double off the wall in LA the Tatis homer against Chicago but they aren't as all or nothing if that makes sense for example Friday against LA in extras Merril gets that hit in the 11th to score the guy from second the hit wasn't anything special it wasn't some blast it was a ground ball through the infield but it got the job done that's what they need and that's what they are doing a homerun is always great but I will take a single through the infield over an out any day

I used to worry when the opposing team scored several runs. These past couple of years has seen a better padres team that just seems to get better with time. They are true come backer's now. Get 'em, bite 'em!!! padres.
I been saying this since last year Jackson Merrill is going to be something. Not hating on Xander but never understood why we got him when we got a kid like Jackson Merrill in the farm system. I guess it work out in the end.
I just so thankful that AJ Preller did NOT trade Jackson Merrill. He traded away so many elite prospects the last few years.....

The Brewers are in first place and, yeah I know it’s only the 3rd week of the season, but wow that ballpark was empty! Watch Petco this weekend if the Padres are in first, it will be rocking in the Gaslamp District all weekend long! We tried to make it interesting in the 9th but a good win.
