Walking around a yard like that, my idea of a great day!
Really appreciate the find you came up with neat stuff on that property. Especially the Mack models
I always think where these trucks have been, how many drivers,if they were beat to death, how many father or grandfather and son or grandson trips, the stories can be unlimited. Thanks again ,a great presentation.By the way the GMCs have a heavy moulding around the grill
💕 love the oldies but goodies ✌️
Love seeing old trucks like these this is when trucks where all metal none of plastic fiberglass you see now or days
Those B Model Macks are gorgeous when they are restored!!
Yes they are Tom. 😬👍
That R model Mack looked like it had a 2 stick 6 speed transmission. That extra low gear made taking off with heavy loads very easy.
I enjoyed driving them especially with the 283/285 engine. It had 2 horsepower ratings, 285 at 1800 RPM and 283 at 2100 RPM. If you turned some fuel to it , it would pull really well 😊
Ad usual, another great video Mr. Dane
I can remember as a kid growing up in the south Bronx seeing coal trucks delivering coal to apartment houses were all chain drive. Those camel back springs were a nightmare to handle.Awesome video Dane👍👍
Wow Russ, you do go back! Lol. Jus teasin . 😬
@@DaneScottsTRUCKERSLOUNGE You are right Dane I do go back a long time.
Cool old iron
Wishing you and your Family a Blessed Easter Weekend!!
Thank you Byron and the same to you! 😊
Amazing 🤩
Hey Dane, I really enjoy your videos. I’m in Pittsburgh, not too far from you. I’ve been a driver since the early eighties. I have severe back pain. I can’t walk far or stand for a while. If I was able to, I’d be out there doing the same things that you are. Thanks for posting. I’ll keep watching.
Thank you so much Robert, my hat tipped to your service! Sorry to hear about that rotten back pain! I appreciate your watching. 😬👍
Very good
The mack c cab is from 1918 to probably 1921
1921 for sure, we got that truck in transfer Pa 3 yrs ago
The old Ford truck with the doghouse gone was a 1953 if that Grill on the ground went with that truck.
I started driving full-time in January of 1974 I started in a 1973 DM600 Mack tri axle with the offset cab.
The U model offset cab was usually Road tractors when new.
In the late 70s I haul Rock from a quarry that still used a chain drive Mack for a supply truck around the Quarry.
The R model Mack in your video was probably an R700 they had a longer Hood than the regular R600 Mack.
Mack Trucks were good for construction and Hauling coal out of the pit. They had the toughest rear-end.
Your video gets me thinking about my young years.
Great video
Thank you.
Thank Kerry for watching. I enjoy bringing the trucking memories to everyone. 😬👍
I must say you have a great eye for vintage iron Dane!!. If lack of space wasn't such an issue I'd love to build more vintage Semi Kits ..
Allis Chalmers dozers used Detroit's up to the early fifties. Great Video, Many Thanks for sharing.
And thank YOU for watching 😊👍
Now that's something you don't see that often, & that would be the 1943 1/2 track; That was pretty cool to see. Thanks for the video Dane.
He has several half tracks, I've drove some of them.
Love that U model Mack, always sad to see those old trucks rotting away.
Good selection of tractors, trucks and construction equipment..Glad you did the walking to show these older gems .
And that’s only the tip of the iceberg lol. Thanks Dan.
I can’t believe you didn’t pull the dipstick on that old B model. There’s no way I could’ve resisted the temptation to do just that. You need to go back and check the oil.
Another great video, see you at Conneaut. Keep the shiny side up
Thanks John …. Lookin forward to it
We used to call the U model side winders
Well you definitely found. A treasure trove of trucks. Great video. Thanks for sharing.
I have a 66 loadstar 1600 w/ grain body on it. Same color. Still in use. We take the sides off and haul round bales in the summer. Love this truck! Has one hell of a history. Also noticed Badger chopper box in the background. Got one of those too. Early 1900s truck; if it was mine it would be inside. On wood floor. Slowly being restored. Keep up the good work 😊!
I know…. So much potential sittin out there!
Dane great video great day trip👍
Thanks Dom 😬👍
O-H-I-O Porter greetings 🇺🇸 Finally getting to watch this episode. It’s bittersweet when you see a place like this. Talking about seeing a wide variety of old iron history…WOW! Farm tractors, dozers, fire trucks, half tracks, etc. I grew up going to places like this with my dad & I sure appreciated it then & now! Most of that iron is still worth saving. I bet he knows most of the history of those things still. And you found some things that came from Ohio. Go figure. I bet there was something you picked up there. Some good stuff! Gonna see ya at the Jamboree! 🥰😎✌️
Yes, just an amazing array of old school iron! Looking forward to meeting ya at the Jamboree! 😊👍
Love your channel brother, thanks again. Gold dog means all Mack, I’m wanting to build one so I’m going for the one that I grew up riding, a DM800. Mid 70’s, 300 plus maybe a 350 4 valve, 15 speed tri-plex and #55,000 bogies, I plan on dragging low boys with the ol girl, slow and steady that’s my Bulldogs ✌️🇺🇸
Awesome! You’ll have to share some pics and video with us! Thanks for the info and watching! I can remember “all gold all Mack” 😬👍
I love that ancient - cab Mack! Any idea what year and model it is? Somebody definitely needs to SAVE that one!
I can only say it’s gotta be very early 1900s. Very iconic vintage “iron”
Nice classic older trucks very rare to see 🙂
Did I just see someone's Legs in the Dump bed of the Red International. 😂😂😂
Some really cool 😎 vintage Tractors and Crawlers too!!
Best field trip ever! 🔥🤘🔥🤘🔥🤘
Ah an old Mack Bulldog very similar to the 1/24 Monogram 26 Mack Bulldog I built a few weeks back...
The u model mack was probably was a city utility dump truck used for snow plow removal serice
That Combine is an Allis Chalmers Gleaner.. One of the best series of combines out there...
11:44 what a nice truck, I could only dream of owning one like that. closest i've got is driving one in a video game 😅
Love the vintage iron!
Enjoyed thee Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Inspection sticker firmly stuck to tge windshield after all of this time! U don't see that a lot in Pennsylvania!! Lol
Right. 😬👍
I believe that one you can't tell what it is is a 50s Ford ..
Incredible 👍
Yes it's a 1953 -1955 Ford u can tell by the cab and dash board
B model mack. Great looking truck.
Great video love all those Mack's I have one old Mack wife. Said no more 😂 thanks again for the great video 😎
You bet Jeff, thanks for watching 😬👍
Another great video with fantastic content, love it!
Thank you sir. 😊👍
I bet the B model will run 😊
More than likely Yepp.
It does
The Isreali military still run the halftracks from WWII and you can still get parts for them.
Wow! 😮
That was fun and I'm looking forward to the next trip. Did you see anything you just have to have yet?
No not really but it’s all very cool iron for sure!
Hey your in beaver center pa that's my bosses stuff that's a 1921 chain drive Mack we got that truck in transfer Pa. His name is Dave Lamb. He has more stuff, half tracks, ect
Yes we talked to him about it all. Thanks for the info on the 1921, several have asked. He said it’s all for sale. 😬👍
I drove 3 different Ford's like that blue one. I still remember the unit #'s.. They had 292 cid Y-block engines. They gave reliable daily commercial service into the 1990's.
That Ford is an early 60s, Ford stopped building the 292 in 1959. Possible they replaced the original engine with an older engine, maybe been rebuilt.
@@bertgrau3934
Wasn't any internet back then. The shop mechanic was the go-to source for all such info. He was utterly reliable.
@@michaelnault5905I stand corrected, Ford did build the Y block until 1964, and used most in trucks so it's possible you did drive a truck with the 292. In 58 Ford came out with the FE series, that was used in big cars and trucks, from what I read it looks like the FE was used in bigger trucks like the F600 and F700.
Some cool old stuff out there. Hope it goes to a good home and not the scrap yard.
It's not going to scrap, that's for sure
Dane. Are you coming to Lakeside Sand and gravel open house? NEO chapter has trucks showing there.
That. Fire truck were referred to as. "Fat LaFrance by the fiemen.
Boy I see why they called em “Fat” it’s a big truck! When & where is the open house located?
April 29th 2023. I usually get there about 9. And usually stay till 4. It's like a family reunion once you get to know people. Every year you look for the new additions to the collection. It's huge
Dane I can tell what your thinking when you looked at the b61's tire size.
I was tempted lol.
@@DaneScottsTRUCKERSLOUNGE haha. I knew it. Everyone loves those.
Need to see if it will fire 😅😂
I'm gonna take a guess it around a 1915-1923 international
Cool trucks! I drove for Pepsi cola in 1970 in a F750 like the blue one ,looks like it was 68 or 69 model. When will you do an progress report on Sarge.
Next video I promise. Was gonna do this one but the "Treasure Trove" material was more than enough. Stay tuned Sir. :)
R 700 maxidynes were most of the time V 8 s
the unmarked is a 53 to 55. Ford
Wish I had the translation… thank you for watching.
How did you get permission? I pass this all the time. I know the road but I never see anybody around. I have WANTED to discuss that firetruck for some time now. They have that American Lafrance, about 1927, across and down the road as well.
Just call him … numbers in the video. He’s friendly enough and wants to sell.
I bet if you weren't so full right you you'd consider buying a rig or two out of this lot...
I am looking for a 69' 359 if you come a cross one..
Ok Jim
do you have the address for that junk yard? I am looking for 2 old, worn weathered top of the fender truck turn signals thanks
I would call the number in the screen and talk to Dave Lamb. It’s all his stuff.
You found yourself a Sweet Honey hole For Sure Sir ..I would love to have that old Mack and The CAT Dozer..OMG ..Then all I would need would be too be RICH. Richer then the Biden Family .. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
beaver center road junk pile
I haul to the township just north of that, I come out to the green b model and make a right, but if you go down the way that b model is pointing he has another big pile of stuff on the right. It's like they lived in the houses junked them up then moved to a different house...I run all around crawford county and see many places like this
@@keystonecountryboy no he lives right down the street, Fischer Rd. He's one of my best friends.
Mr Scott can I get your email? I'm interested about that 1900's c type mack. Thanks
Yes sir… sdgraphics@gwcmail.net
Hey Dane, that green Mack there looks like a R700 most of those came with an 8V71 detroit or 8v92ta, that may be a rare dog sitting there
I know it’s definitely a V8
@@DaneScottsTRUCKERSLOUNGE it's gotta be a detroit MACK R 700 , is the same truck in convoy as rubber duck it was a RS700 I believe, but the R 700 were 8V71 or 92s
Or the 325 maxidyne most likely with 2 sticks probably a 6 speed
Would it have a cummins option??? Saw some in the 80s with cat, cummins.
@@dirtydiesels3110 possibly a cummins or cat 3406B or 3408
