TPP seriously missed the presence of Harry Gregson Williams. I read that he contributed to this GZ theme and the difference between this and TPP’s music is huge.

Yep absolutely agreed. Long gone are the days of my rabid obsession with the MGS saga but TPP still sits sore with me today. TPP lacked the music of Williams and an actual fully fledged story like the other games. Not to mention the technology in TPP was too on the nose to accept even in the MGS universe.

Harry Gregson Williams has been wanting to not do MGS since the third one. But I feel like it fits the theme of the game. Harry is Big Boss of the music, while you feel that something is missing in Venom, there’s also something missing in the music. You get that MGS GZ twang riiiiight at the ending of the truth missions.
