    Between the battle with Phil W and Victor. Judges Extremeo and Kim have not voted a single time for Shingekix despite clear wins on some rounds between the two battles. Good to have wide range of judges for this reason but pretty interesting to see.

      @FierceZs1 Před 2 lety

      Sadly there's always a bias with judges, it would be nice to see a rating chart like "originality", "power", "footwork" instead of a blue or red card to get a better understanding of what they're thinking.

  • @danielcha9253

    Was a very close battle, but Shigekix's first round was super clean and killer! Don't know how some still voted for Victor lol. I still would have tied them at the end 2-2. Victor was gassed out/sloppy and threw out the same transitions/variation at the end including cutting his round short. Shigekix's only flaw is that he doesn't change his pacing and transitions which causes him to repeat some of his moves even if his freezes end a little different. The way he starts (powermove-footwork-powermove-freeze) becomes too repetitive. Victor's only advantage was how he can flow better and dance more with the music. Both bboys did do repeats, but still dont agree with how Victor won at the end.

      @@andrewortiz1047 that's what I'm saying is Shigekix's flaw is he's always starting off with a power move and ending in a similar freeze. It isn't bad to use headspins/flares/airfares/halos as transitions, but he's not changing his pacing nor mixing it up in how he starts his sets. Victor is similar as well since he starts off power moves and ends with footwork in majority of all his sets...no variation of mixing it up.

    Robbery in broad daylight. Victor was gassed at the end and it showed clearly. First two rounds were dope from both, so the tiebreak might've been justified, but it wasn't even close afterwards.

    If this is a move for move comparison then Shigekix wins. But I felt like victor was more on beat and his moves felt more spontaneous and original. So it could Go either way based on what you’re looking for. Personally, I like Victor’s style more.

    These people in the comment section dont know anything about breaking and how to judge it. Yes, clearly Shigekix got the first round and it was judged correctly. 2nd round goes to Victor with his signatures and clean transitions. 3rd/4th rounds which are the decider Victor played smart. Shigekix crashed some moves and transitions. When its the final 2 rounds it’s either you go all out with many moves and risk getting crash or go play smart and just do some clean moves for the points. There’s an advantage as well going 2nd. Props to both but Victor is a battle master.

    • @therealrickytan
      @therealrickytan Před 2 lety

      Shigekix repeated a transition, it was really quick but i think most of the judges caught it. It kinda looked like Victor slipped for a moment, but he doubled down and repeated, so maybe the judges were convinced he meant to do it. I guess it came down to which mess up the judges saw or didnt see the most. high level stuff

    not that anyone asked but for my money if your set goes straight into flare/halo/etc power combos with no footwork or anything else you've already lost. this is a dancer vs a gymnast.

    • @Andrew.webster1
      @Andrew.webster1 Před 2 lety

      Tbh in the last battle vs Jefrro, Vic threw out power rounds with no footwork and toprock etc. (cause he was super tired) and still won (one of the last rounds). I think it's kind of bias to say, here's a formula to win a battle so you have to do evreything. Victor is probably one of the best out there that does a really good mix but there are plenty of sets where he just throws out a power set as well.

    • @nyarlathotep99
      @nyarlathotep99 Před 2 lety

      @@Andrew.webster1 he did it in this battle too but it was more like in reply. Victor is good at responding to whatever comes at him. As textbook fundamentally sound as anyone imo, it's no surprise he stays winning.

      Considering Vic slipped up a few times in round 1 and Shigekix out powered and did a much better freeze on beat versus Vic's one in Round 1, I think Shigekix edged him out. Otherwise rest to Vic for sure.

    • @wheelz114
      @wheelz114 Před 2 lety

      @@Andrew.webster1 disagree. He didn't slip up. Just because Shigekix slaps the ground doesn't make it so. Victor's 1st round had way more flavor, originality, flow, footwork... Shigekix threw out some difficult and dynamic power moves no doubt. But not much flavor, flow, and originality, and while he hit a few beats and stuck and nice freeze at the end, to me, the round lacked an "it" factor. But to each their own. Peace
