- This channel has Behind the scenes of our Gwalior tour, Madhya Pradesh tourism. We started our MP tour from Gwalior, then reached Orchha and thereafter we explored Khajuraho and Panna.
This particular episode is about our Gwalior tour.
This Video was shot on 28th oct 2022. Below are the activities we did on this day.
We started our day early from Hotel Tansen- This is a property of MP tourism. Tariff - Rs 3700 for double occupancy.
Mahalaxmi Restaurant - We had lunch at this place. Kadai mushroom & Dal Tadka.
Mrignayani Emporium - We saw they have wide variety of Chanderi, Tussar, Maheshwari Sarees & Kurta made by the local Handloom workers. It is a platform for the Local Handicraft workers, given by the Govt. to sell their products directly to the consumers.
Jai Vilas Palace - It was built by the Gwalior Maharaja Jayarajirao Scindia during british raj. Architecture of this palace is beautiful. You would see the rooms of the royal preserved & decorated in the same way when they used to stay. Highlight of this palace is the Dining hall.
Hotel Tansen - We came back to our hotel to have dinner.
Katora Tal - We were suggested to visit this place many of the locals in the evening for the Musical Fountain.
