I hope they get the proper breaching tools to in get into a classroom. A shield and a battering ram wouldn't have helped in Uvalde. Has anyone thought about making master keys to be held by a certain few individuals?

*Why don't schools just have active shooter gear in an office? When police respond, the principal or whomever can meet the police with the gear.*
Or the police can run into the room and grab the gear.
*The police, principal, and whomever else should have a key or know the keypad code.*
Should the incident arise, the gear ca quickly be used.
From Flash bangs, to shields, to full armored gear, smoke grenade, etc.
This gear access point can be in one office, at end of the hall ways, or even a little shack shack outside with an alarm.

That would take way too much time in a critical situation

@@ThePresentation010 who’s to say where the active shooter is located in the school what if he’s in the office ??and who has time to go get a key to access gear that they could already have before entering a critical situation if that’s the case it would make more sense for teachers or a principal to be armed

They will have to actually be protecting and serving to actually use them..most times they wait in parking lots and restaurants or showing up late to calls …they are pretty much worthless patrolling neighborhoods…
