    On my third set of panniers now - my first from Ortlieb which are head-and-shoulders better than the others. That QL2.1 is brilliant. after the initial spacing of each of the catches, the panniers find the exact same place on the rack each and every time in a second.

    thank you. I have fit my new back roller pro bags to my new tubes expedition rack. something people should note is that the tubes expedition rack is a little too small for the back roller pro, it is difficult to get the lower 'hook' into a positive position to clamp the bag to this Tubus rack rack. it works, but it s not an ideal fit for this very large bag. thank you for this video. great job.

      Hey Greg, did you know you can flip the lower rail/slot thing? I didn’t include that in the video but a commenter pointed it out. They referred to it as “flipping the smile upside down”, which means the lower hook can be positioned a little higher which might help on your Tubus rack.

    I have ortlieb bike shopper the first bracket attachment type you mentioned here. It's worked fine that second one looks flimsy to me the I'm not sure of the 3rd one it depends on how much weight you'll put in it to see how sturdy the larger bags with that system will be.

    Can you remove the shims from the clips? I have them installed, but they don't fit my new rack

    • @electricbiketeam4059
      @electricbiketeam4059  Před 2 měsíci

      Yes you can. Give them a good hard push from the side and they’ll slide out

    Is there anything I can do if I get a hole in one of these I got a pair of these and one of them has a couple holes in it do they have repair kits or anything or what should I do? I just have gorilla tape on it now is there anything better

    • @electricbiketeam4059
      @electricbiketeam4059  Před rokem

      Hi Nathan, yes you can repair holes. If you google search “ortlieb repair kit” you’ll see some options. Or refer to an outdoor shop that sells tents etc and ask for repair patches for the particular material of your bag (the classic is PU material)
