- Special Delivery! Ash Sutton and Dan Cammish unveil the NAPA Racing UK Ford Focus ST livery for this season's Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship.
The iconic blue and yellow features prominently, with a truly striking design that will undoubtably stand out on the 32 car grid. The livery has been eagerly anticipated since the day we announced the partnership, but we are certain fans agree it’s been worth the wait.
I really hope Dan Cammish does well this year. He is such a nice guy and a clean racer. He suffered the most horrendous bad luck when his brakes failed in that final race at Brands Hatch, and would otherwise have been a worthy champion. He was then treated abonibley by Youasa Honda when they failed to retain him.
Go on Dan. Stick it right up them.
Very cool boys, good luck this season, car looks great 👍
In the launch dan in top 6 every test nd ash right at the end of launch day went a tenth faster than hill in the bmw already these 2 napa fords with dan and Ash look quick I really hope this is motorbases year I hope one of them takes it home would be amazing first 1 2 3 finish ash dan and ollie would be amazing
This is going to be a brilliant season
Good Luck Dan and Ash (hope wins again) and off course the amazing team behind the 2
Looks great cant wait for donnington. Good luck both
Good luck this season!!
No doubt strongest team on the grid by far. Works for me as a sutton fan 😅
Same
WSR is !
I hope Sutton doesn't struggle too much with swapping to fwd. Can't wait for this season!
I've always loved the sound the cars have made, I really hope the new hybrid doesn't change it. Getting my tickets booked for Donington so fingers crossed!
I was there yesterday and the noise was just superb
@@matthales9807 great to know dude! I was at Silverstone training to be a marshal, hope to get out to 1 or 2 races this year!
@@thelammacus where I work we sell Napa products so we got some tickets. Even got to do a grid walk for race 2, which was my favourite thing of the day. we are already planning Silverstone. fingers crossed for your training though, a different way to experience something you love
BTCC Forever..................;)
Chase Elliot to BTCC!
You can't force him.
Who is driving Andy neates old car
Come on own up….. who cleaned that car and forgot the underside of the mirrors 🤔
Ash in a Ford.. I mean a FORD and that too a FWD car!!! Time and time again it has been proven RWDs are generally better even while its under BTCCs or ay sub 350 hp range,
I dont wanna break it but I feel this could be a bad season for Ash, Ford always comes into frame but never a born winner
Maybe not in recent years, but they certainly have done in the past with the likes of Gordon Spice, Robb Gravett, Tim Harvey, and most notably the great Andy Rouse. Plus Alain Menu won his second BTCC title in 2000 driving a mondeo.
Fastest during testing……
Absolutely right, commercially I fully understand why Ash made the switch but my feeling is the Focus has had its day.
Just minutes after watching R2 at Donington, it worried me how Dan had worked his way up to 12th and couldn’t progress whereas Hill and Turkington came from the back of the grid up to respectable positions just like Ash could do last year.
I have faith in Ash but if he can’t win it I hope Tom Ingram can clinch the championship, I can’t abide another Turkington BMW title .

Same emotions here.. The thing is Fords newer platforms and parts are not at all good nor are they reliable. Toyota, Honda, Hyundai and even Vaxhaull has been making parts and chassis that are superior to Fords MK IV.
Also it has been historically proven Fords are really bad n calling ballast.
Early signs aren’t good and my first gut instinct is right, that Focus is a dog 😥
