Looks like a 5k to 6K Banshee where I am in Central NY. Also, a sellers definition of "pristine" is always different from a buyer's definition of pristine.
Things I’d do since I do this to all bikes I buy. Check compression, Clean up carbs, check jetting, tune them up (float air screw,clean jets, adjust throttle cable, sync them, air filter replacement, replace gear oil 80-85 (I like the Honda one), radiator flush ( I like using engine ice) make sure carb boots ain’t cracked causing air leaks and you should

So, I was building a 2 stroke bike awhile back and I definitely remember that the carbs jet needs to be adjusted due to different elevations. Might look into re jetting Aki since it’s colder in NY and elevation is different to what it’s currently tuned too.

The back plasticstry to find a bar or pc of wood to hold them up(top of tire to the underside of the plastic) and leave it over night they usually go back up

Carb redbuild and new reed box will do a world of good for the bike.... seems like its probably not anything deeper based on how it runs when it runs. Maybe finessed a bit but not a total rip off... good luck with it. Took me back seeing/hearing it.

In the video he sent the banshee must’ve already been warmed up & he had it running for a while.
Definitely clean those carbs out and throw in a new filter and see how it likes it after that gotta check the fuel tank to just in case theirs no dirty stuff in it either that could possibly send it to the carb

The reason it ain’t running is because it’s gotta be re jetted for Brooklyn… (check compression) the smoke in each exhaust should be the same.
That bike is 5k if you had a 2006 Reggie…(which you don’t have) if that vin is a clean 2006 vin you gotta look up the vin to see if it’s a a REAL 2006. And they do sell those plastics that you should definitely buy now.
It’s crazy what these are going for I’m trying to get my old banshee back seems like a 6-6500 dollar bike. Definitely needs some carb work

Definitely not the best bill of sale but I hope you got a legit title for it because if not that’s an issue. I’d recommend getting it rebuilt and cleaning the carbs for sure. The bike in my opinion is worth 6k all day.

So on those bikes there should be a choke on the carb and when u first start it you have to pull it out once it's warmed up you push it back in and it's going to need carb cleaned
Hey man, I’m new here but just thought I’d let you know that for the bike to turn on properly, you must pull the choked and and kick till it turns on and push the choke in for It to run, do not leave it out
I like that homie work space clean i cant stand unorganized things especially when they be having stuff just plain in the way at the worst times he got a clean shop so he will hwve a clear mind when wrenching its the only way i could do it i cant be unorganized it brothers me
It’s just needs to be warmed up and maybe jetted. A well tuned 2 stroke isn’t meant to idle long anyway.
I’ve been working on Quad for years you could definitely rebuild that carburetor yourself just watch a couple videos lay everything now nice and clean and deep and count. The turns like the idol screw or stuff like that when you back them out count how many turns and then just put it back. You can find it once it’s running but definitely clean it out yourself. It’s not hard at all, imo 8 k is a little high for that, but it is what it is at this point

Bro, as soon as the bike starts, turn off the choke and the long piece on the arrow goes down towards the on you had it in reserve and I believe you had it on off for a while

Fix the factory second hand fixing like air intake box an go from there
I use to run 100octane in mine in mine. You might need hotter heat range plugs

Lil over priced, but it’s still a unicorn, I’d do a compression test first to see how the motor inside, even tho it does sound pretty good,if numbers are decent, do a oil change, we use atf type f the cheapest u can find lol change ever other ride, been doing this for 10 years, ride hard in the dunes,get a new air filter, and I’d take those carbs apart and clean them up it’s probly gunked up(pilot jets)! While your at it, do a tors delete on those carbs,it’s only going to give u problems down the road, I’d check the jets and see wat u got might need to do some adjust to your tempature and altitude, and make sure u get the banshee sync tool for those carbs, then adjust idle, and if numbers don’t come out good, just take it apart before u melt a piston or throw a rod
3M has some good plastic repair kits that u can patch up them holes
I recommend using a bit more oil , if the engine is tuned properly it should not give problems with the spark plug , usually people try to put the least oil possible trying to get more power out of it , but that mindset only works for racing like karting , for just having fun I would much rather have some less performance but take a better care of the rings , cause if that mofo seize or catch a ring on a port , that going to be a expensive ride
I specialize in 2 strokes and carbs. Sounds a hair rich at idle. Thus why it dont wanna idle and giving it throttle aka air when starting helps. Just my guess from what i saw on video.

Looks down on compression. I have a 89 Honda 250R single cylinder 2 stroke and it takes almost everything I have just to kick it once. Seems like a twins cylinder shouldn’t be that easy to kick. Just a thought and something to look into.
Single cylinder is harder I also have a 250r lt and it’s stock bore is 70mm so it’s pretty big piston

clean the carbs because of the mix gas will cause build up and flood them just like E85 takes a while before the car starts.... best advice to do a maintenance service first and everything should be fine.....p.s. doesn't worth the 8g not with all those holes and flaws
Get some klotz 2 stroke mix one of the best 2 stroke mix out there bro keep her running for a long time blendzall is also really good
We do things a bit different in ghe south. Be lucky you got a bill of sale. Usually its just a wave. As far as the issues on the bike, those little issues should be easy to fix from wrecked Banshee's.

2m oil is for marine craft use 2s or 2r and dont run bre8es plugs use br8eg plugs start there before anything else also the case oil is for clutch/gears gas doesnt get into it use belray gearsaver

Try going down a jet size in the carbs. We are higher elevation in NY than in carolina. Thats where your bogging is coming from. To repack the pipes you just take them off and pull the cores, rewrap them then stuff them back in. Itll take the raspiness out of it.those are toomies though so theyre gonna have a bit of rasp to them. You paid about what theyre going for in that condition being a 50th. Banshee prices are stupid nowadays. I wont buy one. I cant justify paying that much for a used bike personally.

Not bad, but definitely not prestean. The starting issue can be due to elevation or temperature. It was probably tuned for the sellers location and its been extremely cold lately.
Oil looks good. Put new oil in it will look like that the first time you start it. It's a two stroker mane. Still worth 6500 7k if u want a mint bike 10k all day

Deff need silencers packed. Carbs clean is least of ur worries, it might be a little dirty but it's running like that b.c. of jetting. U brought the bike from several states away, elevation, barometric pressure, Temps, humidity that all plays a factor. It'd not jetted for your state is all. Very minor, need a good 2 stroke guy. Aounds fine in the rpms.

Clean out the carb and look at the jets in the carb if day or the same and jets for your fmf T5 jet pipe check the compression if twin mach 120psi + a ok under bad buy air filter k&n + boos battel you win bottom power faster respond on trustol. I have the same banshee 50e anneveris yellow the 3 made from factories steal stock 25mm pistons four the cost 6g or 6.5g more so but the value fully restored yes 8g good Luke whit your quad 🤔
