Ian, do you know why any dog should get bones with raw meat from rips!??! Bones do a important job in dogs digestive system, which is in the wild a important matter of survival, especially for wolfs and bull dogs who are able to survive as well! So please buy him once or twice a week fresh rips with meat on it from the local butcher! Bones can be a good source of minerals and other nutrients and help satisfy your dog's appetite. Chewing stimulates saliva enzymes and helps prevent plaque buildup on teeth and gum disease. And a dog chewing on a bone is less inclined to excessively scratch or lick their paws.
