Just a few years ago, the Thursday night Bingo games at the SPJST Lodge 88 in Houston, Texas attracted 100 people. Now more than 700 people of all ages show up every week! You'll see 21st birthday parties, 50th wedding anniversaries or just coworkers unwinding after a long day. It will only cost you $10 to play twelve games - and win up to $600. Players say there are no tricks, just luck. Everyone is friends with each other until someone yells 'Bingo!' and the boos start.

If I was in a scene like this or similar, probably wouldn't really care about the prizes, just a social event that doesnt cost all that much in the end

Back when my mom used to take me in the 80's there would be a plume of cigarette smoke everywhere. Old ladies used to puff them things down as if they needed to die tomorrow. When I would get home my lungs would ache and I could taste the smoke.

I love playing bingo. I use computer my husband using computer and paper. I’m big on pull tabs. I talk to all the workers and people there. It’s fun time for me. I’m disabled so not much for me to do in our small town. No alcohol in ours. Most I’ve won is $30,000.00 on $1 tab
