If paramount stops producing Star trek I will drop my subscription. I only have paramount for star trek. And Lower decks is a great addition to star trek lore.

It’s weird. Ask me a year ago, and I’d swear that LD would’ve been the last of the modern Trek shows to get the axe. I honestly don’t think I’ve heard a truly negative review about it. The worst I’ve heard anyone say about it is that they didn’t think it lived up to the hype that everyone else was heaping onto it.
is engaging with a show the same as watching the complete Lower Decks literally once every month? Can't get enough of this show and wish it would go as long as the Simpsons go
There's a difference between a conclusion and a cancellation. If the creators did everything they wanted to do, that's a conclusion, if they didn't get to do everything and there's still story to be told, that's a cancellation.
Corporate decisions are not based on how popular or loved a show is, but rather on how the popularity translates into money for them. The viewership of Lower Decks may be very high, but that does not matter if half the viewers are pirating the show because they dont want to pay for the Paramount service.
@@Nobody-11B the longer a show lasts the odds of it being racist go up. the shorter lived it is, the odds of it being racist go down. that is sadly mostly how it goes in entertainment.

If Paramount has such confidence in Lower Decks, why are they pulling the plug after season 5?

Personally one thing I'm hoping for in this season is a little more of Jennifer barely saw her for like 3 seconds in season 4
