Minimarg is a village in the Astore District of Gilgit Baltistan, Pakistan. It is situated on the bank of the Burzil Nala, approximately 36 km south of the Chilam Chowki checkpost and to the north of a border village named Kamri.[2] The village, located south of Astore via the Burzil Pass, has an average elevation of 2,844.6 metres above sea level.
Located near a village named Domel, far from Minimarg valley of Astore District, in Gilgit Baltistan, Pakistan, Rainbow Lake is a small lake with tremendous beauty. The adjoining mountains and freshwater running from the streams add to the beauty of Rainbow Lake. The water of the lake is crystal clear and it changes color and shades ranging from turquoise to green during a different time of the day.
