Great reactions. In the uk and us, so many people don't want to let immigrants in. Saying there's not enough space, homes and jobs. Saying there are bad people and that they won't contribute anything. It's so not true. Lots of none Brits in the uk work hard for their family's. Plus, in my opinion you have to let some people In. People who live in complete poverty. No food/ clean water ect. Then you have others that simply want to get away from all the violent killings. Yet, so many don't want to help them. Take myself, I'm British and at the moment, I have no job. I'm looking after my sick mum. I get money from the government for food ect. There are millions just like me. Even people that are too lazy to work. They get to eat for free and get free housing from the government. But so many people in other country's are not so fortunate. They need help, their government won't help them. So we uk/us should help all we can.

I find it horrible that the UK won't let more refugees in, especially since we have provided the arms to destroy these people's homes. Some of the best people I've met are "foreigners", we are all human, apart from those in the houses of parliament and any form of power. They are a different species with no soul

Great song and great reaction i like that you actually take time to fully understand the lyrics, lowkey is excellent and the only comparison is immortal technique from the states or akala from hackney.
I would suggest to react to something outside of the whole 'woke' genre though because it can get repetitive in my opinion.
London has a 'drill' scene that i think you should react to, i would suggest you listen to them with lyrics as there is a large amount of slang and also just it is fast so it would be understandably hard for someone not really used to the accent to understand.
1011 which is a group from a place called ladbroke grove the main artists are digga d horrid1 mskum and zk, you should listen to no hook, play for the pagans, the truth
another group called 410 with AM and skengdo and sparkz and yrendo I would say you should listen to crash, think again and there behind barz as those are the most successful ones i think you should also listen to 'kick down doors' and 'foolishness'
also 3rdset who are from my hometown of acton in west london the main rappers are kavelly and stretch but they dont have much music out only i think like 3 or 4 on youtube. The songs you should listen to are 'purge' which has both and also 'blocka'.

Personally can't stand the drill sound,but I'm an old man (39) so maybe im not meant to...just seems like the worst aspects of hiphop/ MC culture eg macho posturing, mysoginistic and violent lyrics, basic minimal lyrics...
There are so many great artists making music ATM you could probably make a 9-5 job trying to check em all out...try some drill but if it's not for you then feel free to tap me up for suggestions on some other. Ines 😋
Yea i realise thats how it must sound to people on the outside but as a 17 year old dude from acton who happens to live on an estate and be an ethnic minority i feel as if people in your demographic (I am assuming your white from your name and your age is 39 which obviously is alot older than people i socialise with) see people like me and just dont give us a fair chance
You said the worst aspects of hiphop are macho posturing mysogyny and violent lyrics which are basic, i had to google what macho posturing is lol but it is from what i understood from google acting overly macho in order to impress people, in our social circles macho posturing is very looked down on, ill assure you the drill artists i named are really 'about that life' and anyone caught acting like a thug is instantly ostricised by the vast majority
You also said that mysogny is present in drill which of course is true, i would reply with is mysogny not present in government and the world in general? is music not meant to tell the story? now why would the artists be dishonest about the mysogny around them surely that would be disingenuous?
Also the violent basic lyrics, i am pretty much the nerdiest a guy from the hood can get but i get people from opp ends calling me at all hours telling me how they are gonna shoot me dead lol, why may you ask? because i am in a bunch of photos with my best friends from my estate and they are involved therefore i am tied in, how did they get involved? people before them and so on and so forth, violence is simply the way it works around my area and this is the story we live therefore this is the story we tell, (we as in my demographic)
The lyrics if you took the time to google what some slang means in fact you can ask me and ill tell you any slang you would realise that amongst the story of X Y and Z shooting up A B and C they also told us how they were constantly a target by local undercover police who harassed them from the age of 10 onwards and that they struggled from nothing to wearing designer clothes and being hood famous and i understand these arent exactly reaching the moon or curing cancer but as a hood guy this is the stuff we aspire towards.
You said your not meant to enjoy drill but honestly i think you should give it a chance and of course there are some shallow drill artists but the ones i listed i feel are telling a real story apart from the song by kavelly 'blocka' thats just a really good song to bump my head to lol.
