The pull up was a draw because Denis was just playing, he didn't take the set to failure there for it's not representative and thus impossible to say who would win which is why I put it as a draw. @@NoOne-gx3os I've saw a lot of Iranians who built like Levan and trust me, if you give them enough roids, HGH,... 5+ years of training and practicing with the pros, they could replace Levan. Denis is unique, you can beat him, but you will never be like him, his thick hand's genetic and super humble personal... as I said "there's will never gonna be another Denis Cyplenkov". I love both but truth is truth.

@@antreas1984 Nobody is talking about strength per kg of body mass. Denis and Levan are the two strongest in history, and by the way Brzenk has admitted to taking steroids himself. Also, European training style is very different from the North American one, so European armwrestlers tend to be bigger than NA ones in general. Europeans train their whole body a lot more, whereas NA armwrestlers tend to only train very specific movements. This is also why European armwrestlers generally have a better posture, whereas NA armwrestlers tend to walk around like crabs because their bodies are so unbalanced.

@@antreas1984 he literally said the strongest. That's not pound for pound. That's absolute strength. No one is talking about legacy, just pure power and on that front he's right. These monsters are the strongest there has been. Maybe include Alexey Voevodain that conversation but that's debatable.

Denis is still legit record holder for strict curl. Leroys setup and grip were different making lift easier. May be in the books bit needs to be an * beside it. Denis is the real record holder
Just a few points to add, the "pull back" is called back pressure in armwrestling terms, and Levan did not actually lift 88.5kg.

Denis is a bit stronger than Levan, its obvious, but armwrestling is another discipline and no one should judge by only strength in basic exercises
Considering Levan has lost plenty of times to genadi before his huge bulk boost, he probably has less table iq than him, while Denis beat even John Brzenk and Devon larrat, the two with the most table iq out there, it might have been just that he is so much stronger than both, but still he has to have great technique and extreme wrist/hand control

The results speak for themselves. Both are great athletes but Denis is that bit ahead. People may say he's gotten weak but don't realize the dedication and discipline the man has towards the sport. His humility, humbleness and legendary strength is inspiring... As for Levan, he still has a long career ahead in terms of cementing his legacy, which is looking awesome by the way he dominates experienced veterans.

Knowing that Arm Wrestlers can still compete at the elite level into their late 40s and even late 50s, I would say it's still not too late for Dennis.
It's too late due to his health issues, it's unlikely that he will be able to jump on the juice again

Both of these guys are incredibly strong. The only issue I have is that Levans "overhead press is actually a steep inclined bench press. That's easier than a true standing overhead press.
That’s true, but with the 180 kg log press denis did, they are allowed to use leg drive to get the weight overhead. So it’s hard to compare. I think SU putting it at a draw was reasonable

Denis did 170kg cheat curl using EZ Bar which i believe nobody did it before.

After Devon Vs Levan. This should be the next ultimate dream match
Don't get me wrong Levan is monstrously strong but his extra 30kg bodyweight is not pure muscle, he has had niggly forearm injuries and some niggles when trying other strongman event's, I would rate him for sure as the strongest arm wrestler on the circuit, but Denis was on another level he did what he had to to be the strongest, and he was without question, sometimes just holding people on his bicep, Richard, Dave and many others, I believe 60cm biceps at the biggest and solid, ripped, when he states he could get no heavier he probably means raw muscle mass, my belief is if they were both coming up through the ranks together Denis would have edged Levan... I think Levan is large boned and has most of the criteria to be the top arm wrestler, but I think Denis's ligaments and connective tissue was superior, giving him the greater margin for improvement, possibly Levan has better technique on a table but strength goes to Denis...

Man these comparisons always are getting better, specially this one both are among the best armwrestling champions of all times and I'd say overall Dennis is stronger while Levan the stronger as an arm wrestler

Both are so strong, in every aspect. Denis has a slight edge in bicep strength, Levan has the edge in back pressure and most definitely a stronger hand.

Dennis has just as strong if not stronger back pressure than Levan. He did more reps with only a couple lbs lighter weight. And where are you getting the idea that LEvan has a stronger hand?

Also a note: in pull back strength there was a slight mistake which was later reported by larry himself and many others that the weights that they added where not devided by 2. The full stack in larrys gym was 53.5kg and they added 35kg more which because it is a double pulley system needs to be devided by 2 to saw real weight. So it is 53.5 +35/2=71kg for the pull back strength. The weight denis moved was measured by a scale and was accurate. Not taking that into account , i think that the comparison is pretty accurate and thanks for the videos man!!

Denis is stronger at pretty much every lift but the difference isn't huge. Levan is still impressive, hope he doesn't get his arms too damaged too early.

So you will not determine who is stronger. These are basic exercises. Irakli lifts more than Levan in some exercises, but Irakli only got into the top 8 with great difficulty, and Levan is the strongest armwrestler in the world today.

I think a prime Denis would give Levan a run for his money in armwrestling as Levan is clearly heads and shoulders above anyone in history quite possibly!
Levan in my opinion is a better all round wrestler, has a massive initial hit aswell as decent endurance. Something dennis doesnt have. He waits for the initial hit and trys to catch.
Denis has better endurance, you can see his matches against pushkar, chaffee lupkes ect.
You just compared him to the worst endurance competitors there are. All who you mensioned are big guys who have a massive initial hit and a lot of power. Watch all of their matches. Pushkar has a big hit and nothing else. Chaffee has a huge hit and immense side pressure which uses all of his energy in about 10 seconds flat. Lupkes never had a match go more then 20 seconds.

Denis' build is like a giant dwarf. He is 6"1 and 140 kg with thick everything. Normally you see 5"4-5 people like his build. Chernobyl...

@@Chaosman88 As I explained in the video, Denis was doing his third set of Pull-ups and did not take the exercise to failure so it's impossible to say how many Reps he could do. It would not be fair of me to give the win to Levan based on the comparison as Denis could have done a lot more reps than is shown in the video and thus the result is inconclusive so I put it as a draw.

Both are monsters. I think cyplenkovs gym strength might be overall a bit higher but nobody puts up much of a fight on the table against Levan.
It's almost like you don't want to admit Levan is superior on more things in this video. Any time Levan is better in one, you call it a draw.
Chaffe won a round against Dennis and gave him quite trouble. Against Levan, David had no chance, couldn't move him of the center. I think there is the answer about armwrestling.

georgians are reknown for their strength anyway, levan was probably strong as an ox before training and steds. strength is a funny thing, its not all about muscle size. i doubt even cyplenkov in his prime would defeat levan atm
the most impressive thing about this video for me tho was the bench press stats. theres an awesome channel over at paranormal round table with a great host called josh whose a big dude but not ripped at all, and more to the point - not on gear. and hes been videod benching 600lbs. having seen these two monsters doin a couple of reps of similar weight it blows my mind how freakishly strong big josh actually is

Hard to say prime Dennis vs Current Levan. Devon Larrat was declassed. I hope Dennis will be back but he is getting older.
Levan has since preacher curled 150kg, and I think dumbbell preacher curled 134kg with small ROM but he was definitely controlling the weight. Just outrageous.

You can't compare 1 arm curls with the preacher curl, because if Levan curled 150kg on the preacher, he should only be able to curl 75kg with 1 arm. The way he lifts isn't clean form for even armwrestling, but still impressive nonetheless. Denis could break Levan's cheat rep PR's with that form if need be btw
A standing log or a seated barbell is completely different
Yes, a log press is more difficult but as I explained at the end of the video is was very hard to find comparable lifts so this was the best I could do

@@fightingtalk6253 Unfortunately not. Levan does loads of single arm preacher curls but Denis doesn't. There were a couple of cable based armwrestling movements but on close inspection the handles were too different. It's a shame about Denis and I honestly don't see him being giving the medical clearance to continue.

Prime Denis was beaten many times, prime Levan is unmovable. Dave could not move Levan and he did beat Denis.
3:00 , at first you didn't give competitors draw although there's no evidence of levan bench pressing more than 250KG . and you gave them draw when denis didn't go to failure but levani is much heavier and did more reps. if pull ups is a draw , bench press should be too , or one point to levani in pull ups.
