Ahhh! This takes me back to GH's golden days. I miss all of those old characters so much, especially Stone and Brenda. I would give anything for GH to be as good as it used to be. Now the few characters that are still on the show barely even resemble who they used to be. It makes me sad.
Oh wow!! Jason and AJ looks so cute together!!! YOu'd never thought they would end up where they are now, one dead and the other a mob enforcer. And Sly, Jagger, Karen, Stone!!!! What a great cast!!!
The 1980s and 1990s was those times when General Hospital was worth watching back then but even that has changed over the years as well and it’s not worth watching today anymore.
seriously, I thought they would NEVER change this opening back in the 90's. They had it for a LOOOONG time. I know they had it for MOST of the 90's decade. Anyway.. I pretty much MISS that opening now!! LOL! I mean, the opening these days are nice and all, but I just miss the way the music was smooth w/ the saxophone and everything... then they show the little events w/ Sonny & Bren in Puerto Rico, and even Luke & Laura.. GH's 2 supercouples.. Now it's like...blah..
Man, GH had some beutiful brown-skinned actors.. Vanessa, Maurice, Antonio, That acot who played Stone... now the show seems so white! But I still love it. Sarah Joy Brown was one of the best things EVER about GH :)
@TheMelia84 Finally someone who agrees with me. Robin and Jason have way more chemistry and history than anyone else on the show. I would love to see a reunion or a JAROB wedding one day, that would be a big tear jerker. Esp. if they showed flashbacks of JasonQ and Robin and Jason M and Robin..
It better be true. now can you be more decisive and tell us if the TPTB reformatting the opening or just the theme music. Please tell me they are reformating it I usually don't watch it that much so I can avoid having a seizure at 18. That would be funny explaining to the doctor " I had a seizure from watching GH!" lol

my mom loves general hospital and I remember this opening when I was little because of the doggie. I don't like the current opening at all! it's quick and very dark sounding music.
I remember this opening but I don't remember none of the other people at the beginning of this opening including the black guy and the black girl at the later part of the opening and why did they show a boy and a girl and a dog at the opening I don't recall seeing a dog in general hospital ?

I was only 1 year old in 1995 when this GH theme was still used.
I remember this opening very well. I was a teenager at the time. It was a great show back then.
