I've seen this happen in the guitar/musical instrument collecting world. Too many people find out about the golden goose and where the great deals are. That, then jack up the prices when they sell again. You've inspired people to scoop 'em up!
Good to snatch the Discman players when you can. I find them for $3-$5 in thrift stores when I see clean ones. I have a drawer full. I love the heavy duty sports/waterproof ones (Sony only and always anti-shock, later models), but for what they are, they sound incredible with quality headphones. Great video, as always!

I still pick up old Yugioh cards/boxes I find if I can get a steal on them, even if the old luster I had for the series has gone. I don't think the cards are generally worth anything due to power creep, but I don't know, I could be sitting on some expensive cards if I'm lucky. It's good that you found one of the rare ones. Not that I've seen many Pokemon games at the Carboot, but outside of the Gamecube and Wii (Disc Based), I avoid them. I just can't trust the cartridge systems, which is where the bulk of fakes are.

Kev its been sim pickings for retro stuff at dunton boot sale in Essex one of the biggest in the area as well mate. I've been getting their at 6:30 before people even set up and only seen a few ps2 titles. Sooo many dvds and power tools atm.
Kev just a tip. I take £100 to boot sale with me .I buy as much retro I can find for £50 .then I spend £50 on stuff to resale on eBay all ways make me £ back and more free games cool 😎

Every time new cards come out they are better in the game than the last ones so they go up in price super high. So you either have expensive retro ones or expensive modern ones and all things in the middle are in terrible condition!
hello kevin been watching your clips for a while and have now subscribed eres a tip contact all the charity shops in you area and ask them to keep al the type of game you are looking for wy I say this is because90% OF THE SHOPS can not sell games if the case is damaged ie ps1 or as in ds gae where they vey often get ds games Gameboy games etc without a box so they throw them in the bin defo have a look into ths will be worth your while also will set up a good relationhip with the shops and they will come back to you time and time again regards andrew
andrew horner I've already tried this and given them my number to call when they get games in but I never get a call :'( over given staff messages over and over but as the stores keep changing managers they always forget about me lol
what you need to do is find a volunteer who has been there for years and ask them to keep an eye out for you I work in the charity sector and you would be amazed at what people ask you to keep for them as said in previous message loads of stuff gets thrown away we have a skip rat who comes on a night and empties our skip and leaves one hell of a mess we know who it is but the police wont do anything about it he sells the stuff at a local auction and facebook anyway as I said try and find a long time volunteer as you said the managers(ess) never last long too much pressure on them to hit targets regards Andrew ps I will keep my eyes open for you

hello kevin no unfortunately our skips are open also we get people donating on a sunday when the shop is shut I have just started selling on ebay I have a few games on (resellability)nd hope to do it full time ,I have had a couple of heart attacks in the last couple of months but there is nothing they can do for me as it is something that runs in the family if I can last till febuary I can get a big company pension from a company I worked for in the past that will set my kids and wife up so if I can get a good ebay store going that will be a good help regrds andrew

It was stored in a box in the loft I maneged to play gta and some other games you said that you found a non working ps2 if its the disc tray clean the laser and but a weight on the top well the discs in the I did this and it fixed the issue :) i always pic up ds lites under £6 theres work it in parts

Cameron Dawson gta on ps2 like alot lol brain training on ds. gta 4 on ps3 and 360. normally it's alot of filler titles also that the ds ps2 and Wii has like looking after cats dogs horses etc and babysitting simulators lol so many junk titles where made for ps2 and Wii ds so you see them also. :)
