You're spot on going into those rooms saved my life ,listening to yourself is like a carbon copy of myself I could really identify with everything you're saying even with the obsessive behaviour ,I just think people like us are wired that way ,an addictive personality , training is even the obsessive side of me ,this too shall pass ,great listening to yourself , trying to be a better person and working on my character defects , spirituality ,god bless paul stay with the higher power

Addictive personality I think it’s called mate I am nderstand everything you have said I was addicted to cocaine for a while I came off it but the hunger for it doesn’t go away, I get an idea in my head and don’t rest until I have it it’s not drugs it’s materialistic things once I’ve got everything I then go into something else so I do get exactly what ya talking about
Addictions make you a selfish feker So save your family and your self addiction comes in all shapes xx

The area is rife with addiction and if only 1 person can open up and receive support after seeing this the that's a result.

The way i see it is like this, im a couple years older than you and growing up in Grangetown, going to St Peters and having mates from Southbank, Eston, Teesville, Walehill what have you weve rubbed shoulders with a lot of the same people over the years, weve all had our scrapes weve all experimented but to hear you open your self up the way you do and allow yourself yo be vulnerable deserves nothing but total respect...
Unfortunately people hate to see others succeed in life and when your now so far removed from what and who you once were you will attract negative attention from keyboard warriors...
Any man who can sit there and talk as well as you do... pfft i take my hat off to you i really do...
I was no angel, most of the kids i knocked about with where little shits to be honest and i was no exception but thats what we did in the areas we grew up in wasnt it, some are in jail, some have done time and are now out and some are sadly no longer with us...

Addiction takes many former mate and I struggle Myself. 🙏🏻❤️ we can help each other and be stronger as we are better off with drink and drugs. I’m going to have to get help this year!
I’m the same mate but I obsess over the gym instead now and life is sound, just got to channel the addiction in the right way

Yea iv suffered with that too mate in my experience it always come from low self worth.
Always needed to be liked and accepted, these days mate I just do my best to accept what I am and be happy with what I have and not focus on what I could of had. Hope that makes sense 💙🙏
